The race we needed was Boling against the 4 fastest guys on the team... Boling runs a 400m and they do a 4x100m. And then give the 4x100 team a 25m head start. That would be a fun race.

These are wide receivers who likely ran in HS... so they are undoubtedly fast... but they haven't practiced handoffs or any stick work with their teammates. It's his skin, if he was black nobody wouldn't care as much because it would just be another black sprinter. Anytime someone defies the odds people pay attention and tune in. Most white kids can't even get close to a 10 sec 100 sprint. So the fact he's an exception makes him interesting.

his best time as a junior is 10.11, that puts him equal 32nd of all time. here's also another guy this year who has ran 10.03 as a junior and is younger than boling. he broke 10 seconds with a huge tail wind. Trayvon Bromell ran 9.77 at the same age with a tail wind.

The Germans and the Germans athletes all believed the hype until the competition. Jesse Owens single handedly dominated and demolished every one of them. It was virtually no competition.
