After reading so many of your comments, I couldn’t help but notice that no one mentioned an important question: if their science was advanced enough to create a human "clone," why wasn’t it advanced enough to cure his rare illness? Also, if I truly loved my wife, I would have been honest with her about everything and given her the choice to decide whether or not to replace me with a clone.
Over thinking isn't required in every aspect of life. Sometimes you should just take things at face value and take a momentary pause from being critical of everything.
Finally someone said it. It’s so deceptive to trick the wife he claimed to love. This would anger me taking away the choice to want a clone as a husband is so selfish
@@Truechildofgod I'm not sure why it's so hard to understand that he did it because he loved her and didn't want her to suffer one second because he was dying. There was absolutely nothing selfish about it. It was noble.

@jabellatv3240 I’ve often asked this question and it gives me great pause to deeply reflect on life… Is it really that we don’t want to leave our loved ones behind OR is it that we’re afraid to face what is inevitable… And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment, 🔥Hebrews 9:27

I was waiting for him to be cured of his illness and not needing the use of the clone again...he should've been honest with his wife, the time he took to integrate the clone he could've used to allow her the choice or to grieve while he was with her, why are we trying to change God's design for life and death

This movie is just opening people eyes to what’s really going on in the world today !! They would rather have you cloned , just cure your body damn they want money when you born and want your money when you die the soul has no rest smh
I was expecting the wife to notice the extra mole on the hand, since in most films whenever something like that is pointed out it is for a reason and will be used at some point in the film.
@alexallen1884 True, that could probably be the reason. I was mostly just speaking of the patterns that films and tv series tend to have that because of their limited runtimes do not normally have time for innocuous things and so everything they put in has to be for a reason which makes them predictable. This film actually managed to not be predictable in that aspect at least which is kind of nice.
@@TheShiningStar96 Oh right on, I didn't know that. I haven't seen the film and I do not remember it being mentioned in the clip so I may have missed that. That makes a lot of sense. Thank you for sharing that 👍👍👍
Loved this movie when I saw it and honestly love the idea and the way clones were used. It wasn’t daunting it was genuine. With how young they were and how young their child was I Definitely think he made the best choice. I would make the same choice.
The first time I saw Naomie Harris was in 24 Days later back in 2002. I was like wow she's pretty even though I hated her hairstyle in that movie lol. She was 25 then and I was 14 years old. This woman is 48 years old now and still looks the same. I mean I haven't changed much from age 25 to almost 40 either lol but some women just have this look like sheeesh.
But imagine a world where u new these services existed and at any point in time a loved one of your could be switched out ? I’m literally trying to rack my brain and heart about how o would feel to not be trusted with the cross of grief for someone I loved and to be robbed of being able to truly live out that vow “till death do us part” like idk man I’m still thinkin just to have that in my mind like it’s a possibility in the universe?
Am I the only one who actually watched this movie and did not appreciate the ending? 😂😂😂😂 I would under no circumstances want to live with a clone of someone I loved, and to carry on as if nothing happened to them. It’s one thing if he did this and she consented to being with this cloned version of him, but she didn’t. He made that decision for her, and it’s not up to him.
Appreciate the original screenplay idea. Seems rare these days. Beautifully acted. However, I was waiting for the plot twist: wife cloned herself because her grief overtook her. She didn't recover, she sent in the clone and then succumbed to her grief. He only notices in the final video when he sees the tiny hole in her hand.
While this may seem attractive, the idea of clones roaming the world is truly disheartening and depressing. I want to be around natural-born people made by God. If clones are walking around, then they need to have some kind of stamp or identification on them, as ethics is involved with science, genetic engineering, and so on...
@ I do not believe clones have souls. At least they let this stuff be known in school and the media though. It would be worse if they did not let it be known. The Days of Noah are here. Jesus Christ is returning soon. Amen and amen 🕊🌿🙏
