All I needed with clarinet was a precision screwdriver for when some of the keys got loose. I still carry them on me and I haven't played in years
As a (former) alto sax player, the paper, or a dollar bill, helps so much
Got told by the lady who was having us test instruments that it was super impressive how well I did my first time trying oboe, so I went with it. I missed one band lesson because I was sick and was far too embarrassed to admit I didn’t know a single note or even how to read sheet music. This caused me about a couple months of pain until I eventually begged to quit, where my band teacher begged me to stay because “you’re the only other oboe player. we can’t have just one that makes it really awkward.. but we can’t make him change instruments. please don’t quit”
We needed more oboes in my school band, though.
I’ve been playing bassoon for 5 years now, I still get questioned why I’ve got an orange medicine container in my case. ❤
As a trumpet,
HAHA COULDNT BE US
The most beautiful instrument 🙂
Omg i first found this the first time I started oboe- it’s been two years and i stumbled upon it again pft it’s even more relatable now💀
Until last year I didn't know oboe was a thing 😅
