Thanks for sharing this info. It was very much needed for me while testing with Jaws. I was in the assumption that JAWS does not read to the next row first column sequentially.

Great video. Do you also have guidance on how to apply Title, RowTitle, and ColumnTitle to a table that has two levels of columns headers and three levels of row headers?

Very helpful to refresh myself on this, however, you don't need to select the entire row or column before the key combination, you only need to put the focus on the row or column you need.

Question, do Freedom Scientific have an Excel training book with the keyboard commands like JAWS? If so, where can I find it to download it and is it free?

Thank you for this video, it is very helpful. So, this is a per-user setting in JAWS? There is an old tutorial on the Freedom Scientific website that I refer co-workers to quite often. It discusses creating column and row titles that read automatically using Excel's built-in naming function. This method allows for the Row/column headers to be set by the Document Author and saved directly to the file. Is that method still relevant? If it is, I would love to see a video based on that tutorial. Thanks! I don't think I can post links here, but the last part of the address was "2013-09-25_ExcelAndWordHeaders/02_HeadersInExcel" if that helps.

For workbook authors, select the whole table (including the headers if the table has them) then press Ctrl + T. This specifies that it is a table. A dialog appears. Select whether the table has headers. Then in the Ribbon, under Table Design, Header Row will be checked. If the table also has row headers, then check First Column. The structure/semantics will be saved directly to the file. It can still be done using the naming syntax in the Freedom Scientific article you mention, but using the Ribbon is easier.

When I enter ctrl + insert + alt + c, the cent sign gets typed into the cell.
