Wow!! 😮 Just WOW!!! Holy cow! I didn't think this version could get any better, but YOU, Ken! You took it to a whole other level, my brother!! When I first heard this rendition of Amazing Grace about 3 weeks after he released it, it just happened to cross my feed. By God's AMAZING GRACE!! I was blown out of the water and have listened to it daily since then. I cray pretty much every single time I listen to it. Im a PK (Preacher's Kid) and have heard this sung/ performed/ and have performed it myself thousands of times. I truly believe that God ordained Dan to sing this song "for such a time as this"! When the world is growing darker by the day. He was meant to bring hope to a hurting people! I felt as if all of Heaven stopped to listen!! My beloved Granny played the harmonica and I play piano/ keyboard and sing, and we'd always gather around the piano and play and sing the old hymns of the faith... some of my favorite memories!! The first time I heard this version, I was in a super dark place. This randomly popped up as a suggestion, and how lucky am I that it did. By the end I was sobbing. I had never felt so seen as a flawed human being who is trying to do the best they can. It felt like God himself had hugged by heart, and I'm not religious. I listen to it once a day at least now, because it instantly fills me with hope. (I even named my newest pet spood Grace after it.) Now, I listen to Dan's channel all the time and all of his covers are phenomenal. Do yourself a favor and fall down this rabbit hole. It's so worth it. As Dan says, have an epic day!
