I think the ending of the police shooting the dog is the best doh the nuke ending has a very emotional subliminal meaning, as he destroyed the tv and the game as well from the inside he has no longer the ability to return to the real world, but the dog would not ever be able to kill anyone again.
2 theories: 1:when the police shoot the dog, it may still be alive, killing you and your mum in your sleep 2:the dog was in your yard, was it going to take refuge in the door next to the living room and kill you again?

Use the giant minute hand to turn the cat clock hands until their eyes appear. Repeat for all cat clocks except broken one. The broken one will say something about looking at the minute hands 123,ABC. Translating the numbers to letters in order will get you "baddadbadkid". Find the torch ( the big flashlight) and touch it to the wizard book. Find th board, use the cup to type in the code. In the new room throw the wizard book at the door. This will crash the game. Go back to the room after restarting the game. You should be able to pick up the necronomicon behind the pedastal, throw it at the door. Then you will see.
