This is a fantastic interview, ever since I’ve heard Craig on Real Python talk about Postgres got me jazzed about it. With the extension ecosystem with extensions like PostGIS, pgRouting, pgBackrest, and especially pg_duckdb there is no database like it. I can’t wait for pg_duckdb to get spatial support like what Craig was referring to with Crunchy Bridge. I am ~super~ stoked to see you cover Postgres over the next year.
Why is search not a primary part of databases? It seems to me searching and filtering should be a primary function of a database, not to be cloned and searched elsewhere.

I feel like years ago I heard a possible pronunciation was “post grey”. Never heard that in the wild though
