The size inconsistency is intentional and a part of Tartarkovsky's storytelling. Fang is huge when she is portrayed as powerful, and gets smaller when weaker. I think it's beautiful.
Can't we just agree that this is a fictional world that Tartakovsky has put together blending the lines of history and time. Along with the lines of fact and fiction. If they say Fang is a T-rex, then she's a T-rex. Sizes do vary in this show. All based on what scope they're wanting to show and how easy it is for the animators. This is a world with tank size spiders and man-bats. I don't think it really matters how accurate they are to sizes from our own history
@@Scallop2467 it's a solid show. But it's all a work of fiction at the end of the day. I mean there's bumans coming into contact with dinosaurs. Any sort of factual accuracies can be thrown out at that point
This exactly. Though I find it hilarious people argue science in a cartoon with witches, zombies and demons. This show was never meant to be taken seriously.
I love the Kulindadromeus in Primal. It is truly amazing to find a little known dinosaur in this fantasy world. As you can see, Tartakowsky is inspired by palaeontological novelties
I feel like the sizes might be wrong here but that's more on fault of the show than your video since size consistency is all over the place the alpha T Rex is a good example of this but even fang shifts from being average t Rex size to the size of a large horse
Adjusting sizes during certain frames/action sequences is common place in animation, to build dramatic effect, do your research about how animators adjust size scales to make emphasis vs certain objects etc. It's not the shows fault at all, you just don't know how animation works and are making a random non backed comment. Not being a dickhead, just educating you my friend.
So based on a guess, Spear's mutated state is roughly the same size as Krog. I would maybe put him at either 12ft or 13ft, as he was a bit bigger than the ape during his rampage
I don’t think that’s correct if fangs height is same as kamau then fan can be around 30 feet in length so krog is possibly around 30 feet when he picks her up roughly 3 times the size of kamau stated by fans who is 10 feet tall so mutated spear could be 35 feet tall
Problem with Primal's scaling is it shifts all the time and is loosey goosey with how big a character actually is. Depending on the context of a shot Fang has shown to be as big or bigger than a real T.Rex to as small as a rhino.
@@MrAwsomeness360 But that's not what the OP was alluding to. He was saying that it shifts, therefore having a scale in the first place doesn't really accomplish anything. Basically all you need to know from scene to scene is that one character is larger or smaller than the other.
To anyone who’s wondering about the song, it’s called War in The Planet by Ender Guney. Only place I could find it was Apple Music, or SoundCloud. Can’t find it on RUclips.
The show isn't very consistent when it comes to the relative sizes of dinosaurs, so it would be incorrect to judge size based on the frames where the dinosaur appears the largest. The best approach is probably to use the size it is portrayed at the most often.
@Fred goanimate idk, just off the top of my head I can think of things like the Red Eye King from Starfox Adventures and Mama Scarface from Turok that are probably bigger than the alpha horned rex.
This video isn’t very useful since Primal is FULL of size inconsistencies. Most enemy creatures change size constantly. Even Fang changes size many times to suit the given scene.
Yeah...i would say the Giant pterosaur, for example, is more like 20-30ft. Yes the sizes do vary in the show but still. I enjoyed this video but i definitely think the sizes are wrong based on the APPEARANCE of the scale in the show. The bats for example look more like 16ft tall. Whatever. Still cool video.
The mega spider is just wrong here, it was large enough to pin Fang down with one leg, it'd say it's slightly bigger than the alpha or maybe like the alpha is half the spider's height.
@@WorldInNumbers3D If I were you I would wait for the next 5 episodes to come out, as there will be a lot more creatures, including a giant Argentavis, and a Horned Demon.
1:09 mutant compsognathus due to drinking the tar like liquid which turned the king of the ape into king Kong and turned spear into hulk that's why all of them kill abnormally more victims in a much more savage way than at least two creatures of them can do in their natural form including spear and the gorilla 🦍 like gigantopethicus and the compi is not that dangerous in natural from and can't be feared by human or any large creature as it only eats insects and very small creatures and not even as dangerous as the pack we saw in The Tost World Jurassic Park I guess and here the tar turned him into an abnormal killing machine which doesn't exist in real life
I also think the Night Feeder is a transformed comsognathus. This is something similar to a werewolf. When night comes, he loses control and turns into a monster. In a way, the Night Feeder is a tragic character, as is the infected Argentinosaurus

Fang has been getting bigger from what I’ve noticed though. She’s growing slowly
Either that or the scale aint consistent xD
Which isnt rare in animated shows.

Five Horned Triceratops= Styracosaurus ovatus, maybe is the inspiration.
I think it’s actually diabloceratops, the horn pattern does match it
