It’s so cool that someone with your level of kitesurfing is helping out random people! My friend was one of them few weeks ago and it was super nice of you to help her out! 🙏🏻 Keep the videos coming! The laguna ride and tricks was awesome! 🤙🏻
I very much enjoy watching your videos. What I really liked in this video, was the camera view from behind, on the Agios Nikolaus lagoon, where you did the Jesus walk and where one could not only see the board, but also how you flew the backward downloop with your right hand. I am just learning how to jump and have still ways to go. However, I would like to learn to do heli loops early in my jumping career, but I have yet not understood how to do that. With which hand would I pull the heli loop and would it be flown against the direction of prior travel (backward) or with the direction of travel (forward). Could I even practice that when flying the kite high, i. e. when kitefoiling, without jumping, just as I am riding? I would very much appreciate a video on heliloops with that camera position mentioned before. Thanks a lot!
Hey Johnny, thank you for your comment :)) Heli loop you can do it with what ever hand, pulling the kite forward or backward of the direction you are jumping. If you never did any kind of loops then I recommend practice it while body dragging, but if you already know how to loop the kite while riding, then is good to start practicing this hand drags, dark slides... this are helpful tricks for easier succeeding the heli loop after a jump. Heli loop I recommend to do it when you are able to jump over 6-7m. Unfortunately I will not do a tutorial so soon about heli loops, but I believe that @gethighwithmike tutorial about heli loop can be helpful?
@@kitesurfexperiencebypetar Hi Petar! Thanks for your quick reply. I am aware of the get high with mike videos, yet I still do not get it. I am looping often doing turns, I have grown quite used to it. Well, I'll try it on my own then. Thanks again!
Hi, I'm in Patras for a week, we thought we would kite around here but the north winds are not really coming through, which kite spot in Greece would you recommend for intermediate riders for the next week or so?
Hi Vlad, yes there is strong Maltemi this days so the West coast is bad with wind.. probably would be the best to kite somewhere around Athens, I heard about good spots there but I never sow them. Or Naxos Island where will definitely be plenty of wind, just is a bit far. for now I know just about Lefkada and Naxos of Greek spots I experienced.
@@kitesurfexperiencebypetar hey mate, no I’m not taking the piss. Literally you bossed it, cool as. Awesome video you were just riding around offering help to fellow kiters. 🤙
@@BurtReynoldstash yes it's true, I was also one of them using the steering line, then while preparing the episode about Self Launching Tutorial: ruclips.net/video/e6RzyhclLDw/видео.html I understood that it's much safer to just hold on the Chicken Loop. Not many people are doing it this way.
hehe nice.. no unfortunately I don't know when I will be back in Lefkada. Now I have my own kite school in Dominican Republic, Las Terrenas where the kitesurfing season is all year long so I'm not moving much :)
This would be the dream! A great instructor helping for free haha I wish I could be so lucky like Giannis
This is my dream too, helping without charging but still having enough money to live. I'm working towards my dream, stay tuned :))

@@johnnywalker9067 I'm sorry that I cannot help you more at the moment, but I will definitely give my best to help you once I see you on the water :)
@@johnnywalker9067 The only think I can recommend now is to use the kite not smaller then 9m for learning heli loops.
Every year for 35 years going to Lefkada. This year I'll start learning kite or windsurfing.
Nice to hear that, I believe that kitesurfing is definitely easier to learn :)
Great job! 👏👏👏

Hello Petar, very nice attitude 😊 I would highly appreciate if someone gives me some advises to improve my kitesurfing
Thank you Oliver :) If I see you struggling somewhere on the kitesurf spots around the world, I might give you some tips ;)

Normally people are grabbing the steering line. Pulling into wind. You just used the chicken loop. No hot launch. I’ve not seen that technique before.
