Is it possible for resonance points from one motor to affect another motor running simultaneously? I have two mounted to a sheet metal chassis and I have been having some super frustrating stalling issues, and it's possible some steps are being missed all along the way as well (harder to tell other than my RPM counter seeming to be off with no clear reason in the code).
Is there a online calculator to figure out how I should set mine up in Mach 3. Mine stalls and misses steps on the z axis and it’s getting frustrating?
Hi man. Thanks for the helpful video but can you tell. Do you think that stepper motor of X axis of laser engraving after 18moths of usage to go skipping steps more than before becausee of this long usage actualy not that long its been 200 hours of working in total I red it in the controller records. ? I changed impulse power supply also changed the motor driver but still doing same problem. Not I set the settings for much lower speed to work (acceleration etc.) and looks work better but still sometimes miss 1-2 steps and is making me angry.. thanks a lot I also purchase new stepper motor but it will come after 20 days , because here in my country i didn`t frind same parameters of motor. I bough similar motors and it just didn`t start, when I connect to the driver ti only vibrates and not spin at all... Thanks
Wow, a lot of good information in this video, thanks for sharing, it really helped me with my problems with my stepper motors..!!
Great to hear!
Glad to hear it, Alejandro! Thanks for the feedback.
Well my stepper online motor does not have this information ... the torque information ,,,thx for your time!!
