Boy I had memories of a Lego knockoff Jurassic Park set I had as a kid where bricks were very clunky and hard to connect but I never managed to find informations about it and came to the conclusion that I was messing up memories together... And then I see your video, it blew my mind. Pretty sure it was the Visitor Center set 😮
Remember seeing a bunch of these sets at the Beverley toy fair in the late 90s, but it was hard to choose them over the Kenner toys! Got a Triceratops set with three cardboard slices: one for each shoulder and one for the back and frill.
@@James-e9p6x that's a great story! I didn't know these even existed in the 1990s. I can understand the hard choice over Kenner for sure! Thanks for tuning in and your comment
fascinating building set, thanks for sharing JC. i was so happy when the JP 30th sets from lego came out, i had no idea this existed, i always thought the jp3 film studio sets were the first of any building blocks for jp, It turns out i was quite wrong lol.
Thanks for tuning in and your kind words! I was surprised to find these on eBay some time ago, but when I finally got my hands on this the pieces were so well considered I had to share on the channel
The packaging looks magnificent and I love the detail of the watercolour background. If I had this set back in the 90s, I would be a happy kid. Btw awesome video mate 🔥🦖👊
@@Dezimondo ah thank you! Isn't it brilliant? Likewise if I'd known about this in 1993 it would have been all my Christmases at once! Thanks for your kind words and tuning in
I remember seeing these on a shopping channel in Iceland. I soooo wanted one. I was looking through your channel to see if you had gotten your hands on the Fossil case for the VHS but I could not see it in the videos I saw. I think it is one of the cooler collectibles and not that rare or expensive last I looked :-)
@@atlasimage1976 Thanks for your story with the shopping channel! I do have this - ok I've made a note to review it. I've reviewed the fossil laserdisc but not the VHS yet!
Had this as a kid. Good times.
Ah so lucky!! I stumbled across this some years back but it's so fantastic!
I love the home-made feel of this set so much!
@@TomJurassic There is a lot of genuine love and artistic talent put in to this! It works so well ❤️
Wild how we had this obscure toy and nowadays, LEGO Jurassic World exists and it’s an evergreen theme with new sets released every year.
Yeah! This would be a collectors set now if it was attempted at this breadth and scale of pieces
Wow so cool
I always wished Lego worked with Jurassic Park for the first movie. This is really neat
@@brycevo Isn't it great? This is like my 93 dream come true. Thanks for tuning in and commenting

I guess you were john hammond at least for when you built that set.
Haha I was!! Spared no expense (well actually this set was a good price!)
