1. This is validating. I thought my ears were broken because Timmy was so underwhelmed by the treble, level of detail, and didn't even mention the standout bass character. I agree with your analysis and personally love the energy of this set. Acoustic music on the EA1000 is a match made in heaven. Guitar articulations are so crisp!! 2. Yes PLS hairdryer vid. Bestow thy wisdom upon us
IMO don't worry too much about being validated by reviewer takes, different human anatomy (and straight preference) makes it likely there's going to be a variety of opinions. If you're happy with it, that's what matters 👍
not the first time Timmy has been way, way off. He gushed over the AFUL P5 which is a tuning mess... veiled, back of stage vocals and super splashy 5k-8k (which is corroborated by the graphs) which no tip rolling can fix. Makes me wonder how different Timmy's ear morphology is to mine.
Phew..glad i made the right purchase getting the ea 1000😅..was waiting so eagerly for your review..had to tweak the midrange using squiglink a tad bit for vocals to pop out..now its phenomenal ..cheers😊
Well..i was intially considering the other iems in this video as well, but couldnt try em ..was really not completly sure i made the right decision..and i noticed i was able to relate well to his reviews cuz i do have a similar sound signature preference to his and i wanted to be sure i made the right call ..im not dying for his validation on my purchase..so chill bruv.. don't jump to conclusions..peace😇
Can't wait for your Tanchjim Origin review, also if you can measure the weight of each iem without the eartips would be nice. I found KATOs to be heavy in my ears after a good couple of hours and comfort starts to massively effect the music enjoyment.
@@SuperReview Amazing. I saw your clips on Michromatic a log time ago, really loved your presentation style and I really like that you are still using MFT after all these years. Cheers and may your work reward you tenfold!🙌
yeah i have the red nozzles on and bought the extra tuning kit off of ali and i put 2 thicker foams into each red nozzle and it removes a bit of that treble fatigue most people would probably get from the stock tuning, These things sound absolutely perfect to me now. Quite a competent driver, love the purple little driver in this thing, it works wonders.
thanks for the advice! that is what i have the small sponge filters perfectly cut for simgot iems from simgot, and i have 2 different density foams@@paulosilva8200
Hi Mark, grrat review!! I have the 1000; spot on describing this! It's just a little too energetic for me. I do not eq, so i bought the 500 tuning kit because i have the 500 too, but i did a diy mod of my own and they sound superb now. I will let you know if i can tame this beast with the tuning kit!!
Add 500 mesh filter on top of the nozzles with black ring. Use latex H570 tips. Treble sounds more natural. Graph will nearly match your target @SuperReview
I dont like the tuning on singot iem's, too bright in the mids for me, i prefer something more like the ie600 for mids. I nearly returned the ea500 LM same day, however woth EQ i was astounded. You really do get a quality driver with the simgotsnfor the money
looking at the teeny tiny opening on the Dunu tip makes me wonder what it would sound like with a medium bore (like the Simgot) or medlium/wide bore tip like the Kato. would be super interesting to swap tips between Simgot and Dunu.
He left a smiley face. How is that a demand? People really just whiney and weak now. Dude you present yourself to this hobby and it's highly subjective and millions of iem releases monthly dude, diff people are gonna be interested in different stuff bro. Sorry I'm based Mark. You should've just ignored it instead of being petty.@@SuperReview
Great review. Love how you have inset view of your face as you show the items. One suggestion would be to sit on your hands because waving your hands at close range is annoying. I get that you need to point at the item you're talking about sometimes. But yeah, other than that go ahead and stick your hands up your cornhole during the videos.
I'm yet to get any Simgot. Heard 500LM in a demo. Not gonna lie, being a mathematician Fermats name is tempting for me. Planning to start Simgot with EW200 and 500LM. Soon will review both on my channel. As usual Super review.
have you tried the Kato with another tip, like silicone tips? Because The Spring tips tames that treble-air area a bit too much and also the bass texture/tactility a bit soft when paired with the spring tips, at least based from my ears and some other that daily driving The Kato
if the Spring tips are anything like the Spinfit W1, I would agree with you. How do you make a tip that kills both bass and treble? Now THAT's a rare trick.
This the kato and aria 2 are exactly the same from bass response to the midrange and their only differences are on the trebble. Ae1000 is bright, kato is less bright and aria2 is the least bright. And I think the Aria 2 nailed it in overall tonality while cheaper.
Nah, I'm in the caboose ready to jump off, too. I just tested the EA500 LM. Very impressive resolution and technicality for the price, but its timbre isn't that organic or natural. The EA500 LM seems like a dream team or rock supergroup of great individual parts that doesn't bond into a cohesive team. Or maybe the difference between a shredder like Satriani and a player with great feel like Stevie Ray Vaughan. Very impressive individual detail, clarity and bass and solid imaging, but it just doesn't sound musical to me. I don't want my headphones and earphones to be microscopes. I want them to wrap me in the music. The EA500 LM's don't -- for me.
I do not agree in the slightest, the Chopin feels like it can hardly keep up on anything fast and complex. Good thing its a subjective hobby. The Chopin does sound amazing just really doesnt excel with fast metal songs or really anything congested and fast. This single DD does a much better job at that stuff imo and @@SuperReview Also why didn't you compare this to the Chopin, Nova and EM6L.....I can guarantee you way more people wanted those comparisons.
Would love to see how you maintain your IEM cables with a hair dryer! Your roadie wrap video was a lifesaver.
Same, actually interested to see the visual of what to do.
That would be a great video. A good fit is crucial for enjoying music and if it helps with that, I am all for it.
I use a lighter, you have to be careful though lol.

I'm looking forward to your review of the 500LM, it's the hype of the year so far so I'm curious on your take of it.
Not reviewing it, sorry.
@@SuperReview Simgot not willing to send you one or some other reason? I would have also liked to hear your take on it.
@aarokaronen1724 I'm just not that interested personally, seems like more of the same.
@@SuperReview Understandable, for the most part it's just the EA500 with the DIY kit done for you.
@@SuperReview That's unfortunate. I was really interested on hearing your opinion about it. Some say the driver is better than the one on the EA1000.
Has a nice driver for sure. What I like its the nozzles. I always mod them. Place a filter sponge inside and I can retune them in 5 seconds
Nice.

@mikesoke try to get sponge filters. Placing nozzle sticker filters outside only and more than 1 can flex the driver in hot conditions with sweat.

Might be worth it to get the Kato new filters and spring tips. I remembered it sounded really dull when the filters are partially blocked.
I started hair driyer method 2 years back😂 and it works

You gotta try the Tanchjim Origin..
Honestly that one would've been more suited for comparison here than the Kato🙂

I like my ea500.. give it a kiss of bass boost with the ifi go blu and good to go
I put mine on a copper cable and it took the high treble out for me, using the red nozzles also.

Tanchjim originreview? It's probably like the ea1000 in technical performance but with better imaging and a neutral tuning.
Would you like to review the 7hz sonus which some reviewers compares it to the truthear hexa?
How would you compare this to Tin Hifi T5 ?
Personally, I'm just gonna stick to my falcon ultra for single DD. I don't see anything beating it for me
Falcon Ultra was much better to me
I'm not surprised you do :P
Hey Mark, what’s a good one to sit back and relax/zone out to Radiohead? Not sure if one of these or a hybrid like the Hype 4?
Chopin

Origin review soon.
So, new Simgots not so MID after all. :-)

This one's more impressive than the EA500, but still think the Chopin is in another league at this price.
