Hamza & hala moving to a new place, their new phase of parenting, hamza pushing hala to be independent & hala standing on her own footing. The show became a hit because of the romance between this couple. Their love was pure! In the world of toxic love stories, people were relived to see such kind of love story & also sameen & khurram meeting after some years & taking on with their story from there.
I follow all these reviewers, galaxy lollywood, fuchsia magazine etc.... But I believe only Something haute makes sense, with their criticism, I love how unapologetic, honest, frank, to the point they are.
I appreciate rabias interviews but I don’t resonate with her drama reviews. Galaxy lollywood is not that great anymore, except for Lubna Aunty’s occasional clip that makes me laugh. They focus too much on masala and often have misinformation. Something haute is a channel that doesn’t have any major problems in terms of credibility

Qasim is so humble n honest. One one else could do the justice as him to mere humsafar. I had no idea about pak drama industry but this man made me fall for mere humsafar n I really want season 2 .he is indeed the best director n wish to see him again with the whole cast of mere humsafar
I'm from a broken family who lived 12 years with her step mom,Sisters & so called caring father( extremely sorry for the word). U can't even imagine an assaulted child's psychology. I myself can totally relate with hala. U Won't be able to breathe,but u have to. Those Who thinks hala dumb,no guys u r just lucky that u hadn’t experience what hala likes girl had to.

The drama has worked for three things a) the chemistry between Farhan and Hania, B) As Farhan highlighted, this is a after marriage story, which in today's date it is very rare! C) it's the music! Glad there is no season 2 coming, but yes all in for the couple to see in a new story!
A few points: a) I appreciate that Hassan is asking all the right questions, but please don't interrupt Qasim when he is answering. b) The answer to all Hassan questions, which somewhere Qasim has replied, look at the numbers! So basically, the drama could have ended much earlier, but due to the high rating, they decided to Strech it and when they started getting negative feedback (somewhere from 33 to 35 episode) the decided to wrap up and given the sudden realization to Shah Jahan in the last episode.
I respect this man for his work in Aangan that was 10000x better. But to be brutally honest, his attempt at justifying the numerous mistakes and failures of mere Humsafar were not convincing in the slightest. Kudos to Hassan for asking all the right questions

Hassan raised valid points ...like hamza had already confessed his love to Hala ..so the later scene of khurram making him aware was all wrong ...in fact khurram should have made hamza realise Hala's love towards Hamza ....i dont think Quasim Mureed could justify how hamza didnt trust hala regarding shahjahan trying to kill her baby . ..Farhan in his interview did give better justification

Strangely, the director couldn't provide a justification for the scene where Hala believes Shah Jahan when she tells her that Hamza would take her baby away from her. Perhaps Qasim was overwhelmed with so many probing questions, but if he really wanted to justify the scene, he should have said, That's because Hala has always been a timid, unassertive and indecisive individual who has always been dictated by others to take any actions whatsoever. Hamza ne kaha shadi karogi? Us ne karli.Tayi ne daraya tumhara raz bata dongi, is Naveed se shadi karlo. Woh dulhan bun kar beth gayi. Woh jo hum kehte hain na Urdu mein, isko jidher le chalo chale parega/gi. Hala's character had been established that way. And, plus, theek hai Hamza bohat acha tha, but she also knew that how much he is influenced by his mother. A few scenes earlier, we had seen Hamza's reactions when Hala tried to tell him the truth about his mother's plot to abort his baby. In light of these situations, Hala's personality and the fact that she was overprotective of her baby, it is understandable why Hala mistrusted Hamza. Because aisi situation mein zehan mein khayal ata hai, bhai ye bhi insan hi hai. Koi farishta nahi jo her bar mera hi sath dey, especially if you're THE Hala.

Hala didn’t trust hamza 1.hamza’s father told to nafees that hamza doesn’t want to be with her 2. When nafees was leaving then hamza said hala is pregnant that’s why he can’t leave So somehow Hala was thinking that hamza can’t be trusted 3. Hamza didn’t trust hala that shajhan came and said so because recently he discovered that hala did lie to her may be in love but did and he thought that she might be misinterpreted.
I have seen mere humsafar back to back 4-5 times Slendid work of farhan.. a great grand Son great son great brother great spouse and a great father He was so so natural..did not look that he is acting...he lived through the role Whole cast was good each and every one did very well ...from dadai to rooomi but Farhan was the greatest as humza

Qasim was so right that nothing is flawless n everything has got flaws n it's easy to criticize them sitting at home but the efforts they put in to make a drama is something we can't imagine n yes mere humsafar has some flaws but only some of the last episodes otherwise the whole drama is the best drama I have ever seen in my life n everything about MH is just so perfect n has become my favorite forever. Still, he wasn't able to defend the flaws in MH. Secondly, billion views doesn't mean that you don't address the flaws.

His answers don’t make any sense. The story was just ridiculous in the end . Stretching 10 more episodes just to garner views and make money. Admit it and move on ! 😅

From the teasers itself it was very much clear what the story is going to be but I still watched it for farhan and his chemistry with hania. I really wanted to see them together in a drama/flim after their song piyaar sufiyana. Initial 7 episodes with hala crying everytime were just annoying. After humza's entry till the the point hala pregnancy is revealed it was a good watch, a guilty pleasure. All those cute halza moments and humza being a good husband and hala finally coming out of shell topped with some really beautiful dialogues was good. After that the show went completely downhill. The only things that sailed me through were halza and wanting to see shahjehan's downfall. Episodes were literally boring even the khurram-hala revelation part was not surprising and completely impactless. Dadi's demise was a bit shocking and 2-3 episodes after that were good but then again the show became boring and quite illogical. The 2nd last episode was something to watch but it turned out to be a phuski bomb and the last episode bomb me aag hi nhi lag payi. The show was stretched so much unnecessarily. The ending didn't made any sense. No need for season 2 but surely would love to see farhan and hania together again in a better project.
This interview really checked alot of boxes about mere Humsafar but sadly wasn't satisfied with the answers. Specially when Hassan asked about hamza not standing on the medicine his mother gave to Hala , he had no specific answer. It's so hard for our industry to not stretch a drama specially when it gains views. And next it is impossible that producers and directors accept that the story line was rubbish.

After seeing other reviews of mere humsafar's last episode, I'm sorry to say but hasan and aamna you don't have the skills to review dramas just stop. How can you question the intelligence and creativity of these drama makers. How can you be so annoyed with the ending. What was it, just shahjehan was redeemed that's it. You guys don't know she was such a great lady. She did wrong only with hala and only because she was abused too and when hala herself forgave her, who are you guys to question it. What wrong has shahjehan done to humza? Nothing. She tried to kill hala's baby did that baby had any relationship with humza? No (Cause everyone just keeps saying hala's baby) She tried to create a scene to present his wife as a cheater, what's that wrong, no, because she was just trying to tell the truth you all, topped with her own imaginations. She was such a good mother that she didn't wanted that her son should go and tell his wife that he would snatch her baby, she went herself. Khud buri ban gayi but bete ko bura nhi banaya. What happened after that just a little little misunderstanding between halza. What's that because of shahjehan, no, it was hala's fault that she couldn't see through it. Humza kept on begging that she should come and get his wife and daughter back home but she didn't wanted to come why because humza did wrong to her daughter, again did her daughter share any relationship with hunza, no. What wrong has she done to rumi ?nothing. she just kept comparing her with sameen that's it. Ye to sab parents krte h. What's wrong has she done to sameen? nothing. She just wanted to save her own daughter and in that all fuss sameen's character was questioned that's it. When sameen tried to move on from humza she just called a few people and told them sameen likes someone else what's that wrong, no. she was just telling people what was in sameen's heart that's it did that make anyone question her character? no. You guys better watch a drama more closely from next time. On a serious note there was no redemption on shahjehan whatsoever. The whole van driver scene revelation was just rumi's redemption. Showing that she did nothing wrong and it was all shahjehan's fault. It was kind of raees redemption as well that he used to say wrong about others daughter and her own daughter did so wrong. There was no redemption of shahjehan even for 3 minutes. Just the moment when humza says that he wants to go Australia thunder strikes and she became a masoom ma all of a sudden. Did you guys notice her saying hala tum muze maaf kr du to humza bhi muze maaf kr dega. Means that was not a sorry to hala but just a way to stop humza. I don't know why there are people saying that humza was wrong and he shouldn't have left his old mom and dad. These writers are so clever they knew that if every wrongdoing of shahjehan is revealed then there is no way they can redeem her that's why they revealed a bit and that's it. Seeing humza wanted to leave the country cause he got to know that his mother put false blame on hala, what would his reaction be if it was also revealed that his mother tried to killed his unborn child there was no way, no excuse for shahjehan's forgiveness then. Hala's reason to shift with nafees was so that she can give a better environment for her child right , then how come she agreed so easily to go back with humza after her delivery. What changed? I wanted a happy ending for halza but the way the reconciled didn't make any sense to me. Hala forgave humza by saying that she can't raise her daughter happily alone and that she wants her daughter to get his father's love. If this was going to be the only reason for forgiveness to itna drama kyu kiya ki main tumhe chhod dugi, main London chali jaungi why? It looked like jadu ki chhadi ghumai or sab thik ho gya? One good point was humza's dialogue where he says that his relationship with hala is also important for their child's happy future. I don't know if there was any other impactful message or not but I really want people to take a note of it. Cause this is really important. I come from a broken family and nothing hurts more when the parents whom you love to death sometimes their relationship crisis makes you feel so suffocated that you just want to run away. I'm not saying that parents shouldn't get separated or divorced or fight. But how they maintain their relationship even after being separated is also important for the child's mental well-being. Parents relationship whether they are together or not has a impact on child. As much as people have popularized the romantic dialogue of humza I hope they also popularized this one too.

The reason why this drama had so many views is that people in general and Pakistanis in particular are sadists; they like seeing, from the comfort of their homes, people esp. women being assaulted,abused, exploited, debased and degraded,only to be saved in the end by an angel. Millions of views does not in any way imply the story or direction were good....it only implies the drama had the right toxic ingredients to make average viewers glued to their seats and we all know the world is full of 'average' people!
Don't go for HAMSAFAR 2 COZ we don't want to see Hamza in negative role....or Agar season 2 aaya to Hamza negative ho jayega shayd......we want to see only Hamza Hala beautiful love story .......but yes we want another drama with the same leads Farhan and Hania 👍love from India🇮🇳🇮🇳 and special luv for Hamza ❤️❤️ #Farhania

I have watched Angan drama two times, it's amazing. Didn't know he directed it. Though I haven't watched a single episode of Mere Hamsafar due to rona dhona and jealousy sruff of Mil.
Unpopular Opinion but I wouldn't want a season 2 of this just to escape ruining season 1's authenticity and rawness... In a world where everything is so fast-paced even love and relationships, MERE HUMSAFAR revisited that old-school romance of finding your soulmate, falling in love, and putting effort every day to hold on to it. Somewhere we have forgotten to do those little efforts to keep relationships alive, intact... moving on has become a glorified reality... but UNDERSTANDING YOUR PARTNER, ACCEPTING THEIR FAULTS, AND YET HOLDING ON TO YOUR RELATIONSHIPS AND FIGHTING TO STAY BACK IS SO MUCH MORE APPEALING... MERE HUMSAFAR TAUGHT ME THIS ❤ ...and so I would never want a season 2 to ruin this beautiful rendition of a soulful story... I would just be happy imagining 10000 different ways how Hamza and Hala would be living with their parents and daughter, who they forgot to name 🙄 than seeing them face the sad realities of life... I would want their last smiling forever etched in my memories... Let them be my ultimate Cinderella rendition, please. Farhan and Hania being such actors par excellence with their fiery chemistry would do justice to any story they would do together.

One point which i am able to figure out from this interview is that interviewer is trying to find logic in love. Hassan needs to understand that its an emotional + magical love story. If you try finding logic in love story, then it cannot be love story...it will be strategic arrangement. At one point where Hassan is asking that why Hala's secret is so much hyped and that Hala is not able to tell the exact stuff to Hamza. I just want to explain that before asking this question, understand the history of Hala's character. The way she has been treated since her childhood, when no one was with her and no one trusted her, how could she confess any such damaging stuff infront of a single person(that too whom she loves so much) who loves her and trusts her. She was severly scared to lose him. Hamza was the only person in her life who was with her at that point. Kudos to the director and writers to consistently carry the character in contained way throughout 40 episodes. There was no drastic transition and every scene was flowing with expected intensity.
So sad to see a art maker to talk about views to save the grace for this drama he should be talking about technicality ... Like the director of dil na umeed toh nahi .... So saaad
Watched half the interview and couldn’t watch further. Qasim has no justification for Hassan’s rightly-asked-questions. Society needs to reflect on where it is heading if this is the type of content that is becoming a block-buster. He talked about Aangan as well and Aangan was way superior than Mere Humsafar. I have no hope for this industry anymore.

And, plus, theek hai Hamza bohat acha tha, but she also knew that how much he is influenced by his mother. A few scenes earlier, we had seen Hamza's reactions when Hala tried to tell him the truth about his mother's plot to abort his baby. In light of these situations, Hala's personality and the fact that she was overprotective of her baby, it is understandable why Hala mistrusted Hamza.

Hala didn’t trust hamza
1.hamza’s father told to nafees that hamza doesn’t want to be with her
2. When nafees was leaving then hamza said hala is pregnant that’s why he can’t leave
So somehow Hala was thinking that hamza can’t be trusted
3. Hamza didn’t trust hala that shajhan came and said so because recently he discovered that hala did lie to her may be in love but did and he thought that she might be misinterpreted.

Qasim was so right that nothing is flawless n everything has got flaws n it's easy to criticize them sitting at home but the efforts they put in to make a drama is something we can't imagine n yes mere humsafar has some flaws but only some of the last episodes otherwise the whole drama is the best drama I have ever seen in my life n everything about MH is just so perfect n has become my favorite forever. No other drama can be as best as this

best question by Hassan ky 39 episodes ki buraye ko 2min mai redeem kerdya. we are not blinded sorry qasim. it did not add up. Bilkul ghalat transformation thi hala ki. Unrealistic baat. Emotionally move on kerna he tou asal baat thi. There was so much turmoil. Both hala and hamza needed break.

From the teasers itself it was very much clear what the story is going to be but I still watched it for farhan and his chemistry with hania. I really wanted to see them together in a drama/flim after their song piyaar sufiyana. Initial 7 episodes with hala crying everytime were just annoying. After humza's entry till the the point hala pregnancy is revealed it was a good watch, a guilty pleasure. All those cute halza moments and humza being a good husband and hala finally coming out of shell topped with some really beautiful dialogues was good. After that the show went completely downhill. The only things that sailed me through were halza and wanting to see shahjehan's downfall. Episodes were literally boring even the khurram-hala revelation part was not surprising and completely impactless. Dadi's demise was a bit shocking and 2-3 episodes after that were good but then again the show became boring and quite illogical. The 2nd last episode was something to watch but it turned out to be a phuski bomb and the last episode bomb me aag hi nhi lag payi. The show was stretched so much unnecessarily. The ending didn't made any sense. No need for season 2 but surely would love to see farhan and hania together again in a better project.

This interview really checked alot of boxes about mere Humsafar but sadly wasn't satisfied with the answers. Specially when Hassan asked about hamza not standing on the medicine his mother gave to Hala , he had no specific answer. It's so hard for our industry to not stretch a drama specially when it gains views. And next it is impossible that producers and directors accept that the story line was rubbish.
When is the trailer of tich button coming out, it will releasing soon and they haven't even started promotions for it no interviews, I hope it doesn't get delayed again it's already been delayed so many times

After seeing other reviews of mere humsafar's last episode, I'm sorry to say but hasan and aamna you don't have the skills to review dramas just stop. How can you question the intelligence and creativity of these drama makers. How can you be so annoyed with the ending. What was it, just shahjehan was redeemed that's it. You guys don't know she was such a great lady. She did wrong only with hala and only because she was abused too and when hala herself forgave her, who are you guys to question it. What wrong has shahjehan done to humza? Nothing. She tried to kill hala's baby did that baby had any relationship with humza? No (Cause everyone just keeps saying hala's baby) She tried to create a scene to present his wife as a cheater, what's that wrong, no, because she was just trying to tell the truth you all, topped with her own imaginations. She was such a good mother that she didn't wanted that her son should go and tell his wife that he would snatch her baby, she went herself. Khud buri ban gayi but bete ko bura nhi banaya. What happened after that just a little little misunderstanding between halza. What's that because of shahjehan, no, it was hala's fault that she couldn't see through it. Humza kept on begging that she should come and get his wife and daughter back home but she didn't wanted to come why because humza did wrong to her daughter, again did her daughter share any relationship with hunza, no. What wrong has she done to rumi ?nothing. she just kept comparing her with sameen that's it. Ye to sab parents krte h. What's wrong has she done to sameen? nothing. She just wanted to save her own daughter and in that all fuss sameen's character was questioned that's it. When sameen tried to move on from humza she just called a few people and told them sameen likes someone else what's that wrong, no. she was just telling people what was in sameen's heart that's it did that make anyone question her character? no. You guys better watch a drama more closely from next time.
On a serious note there was no redemption on shahjehan whatsoever. The whole van driver scene revelation was just rumi's redemption. Showing that she did nothing wrong and it was all shahjehan's fault. It was kind of raees redemption as well that he used to say wrong about others daughter and her own daughter did so wrong. There was no redemption of shahjehan even for 3 minutes. Just the moment when humza says that he wants to go Australia thunder strikes and she became a masoom ma all of a sudden. Did you guys notice her saying hala tum muze maaf kr du to humza bhi muze maaf kr dega. Means that was not a sorry to hala but just a way to stop humza.
I don't know why there are people saying that humza was wrong and he shouldn't have left his old mom and dad. These writers are so clever they knew that if every wrongdoing of shahjehan is revealed then there is no way they can redeem her that's why they revealed a bit and that's it. Seeing humza wanted to leave the country cause he got to know that his mother put false blame on hala, what would his reaction be if it was also revealed that his mother tried to killed his unborn child there was no way, no excuse for shahjehan's forgiveness then.
Hala's reason to shift with nafees was so that she can give a better environment for her child right , then how come she agreed so easily to go back with humza after her delivery. What changed? I wanted a happy ending for halza but the way the reconciled didn't make any sense to me. Hala forgave humza by saying that she can't raise her daughter happily alone and that she wants her daughter to get his father's love. If this was going to be the only reason for forgiveness to itna drama kyu kiya ki main tumhe chhod dugi, main London chali jaungi why? It looked like jadu ki chhadi ghumai or sab thik ho gya?
One good point was humza's dialogue where he says that his relationship with hala is also important for their child's happy future. I don't know if there was any other impactful message or not but I really want people to take a note of it. Cause this is really important. I come from a broken family and nothing hurts more when the parents whom you love to death sometimes their relationship crisis makes you feel so suffocated that you just want to run away. I'm not saying that parents shouldn't get separated or divorced or fight. But how they maintain their relationship even after being separated is also important for the child's mental well-being. Parents relationship whether they are together or not has a impact on child. As much as people have popularized the romantic dialogue of humza I hope they also popularized this one too.

The reason why this drama had so many views is that people in general and Pakistanis in particular are sadists; they like seeing, from the comfort of their homes, people esp. women being assaulted,abused, exploited, debased and degraded,only to be saved in the end by an angel. Millions of views does not in any way imply the story or direction were good....it only implies the drama had the right toxic ingredients to make average viewers glued to their seats and we all know the world is full of 'average' people!

Unpopular Opinion but I wouldn't want a season 2 of this just to escape ruining season 1's authenticity and rawness... In a world where everything is so fast-paced even love and relationships, MERE HUMSAFAR revisited that old-school romance of finding your soulmate, falling in love, and putting effort every day to hold on to it.
Somewhere we have forgotten to do those little efforts to keep relationships alive, intact... moving on has become a glorified reality... but UNDERSTANDING YOUR PARTNER, ACCEPTING THEIR FAULTS, AND YET HOLDING ON TO YOUR RELATIONSHIPS AND FIGHTING TO STAY BACK IS SO MUCH MORE APPEALING... MERE HUMSAFAR TAUGHT ME THIS ❤
...and so I would never want a season 2 to ruin this beautiful rendition of a soulful story... I would just be happy imagining 10000 different ways how Hamza and Hala would be living with their parents and daughter, who they forgot to name 🙄 than seeing them face the sad realities of life... I would want their last smiling forever etched in my memories... Let them be my ultimate Cinderella rendition, please.

Progression writing ? Are you serious whole story was revolving around Hala who had mere interaction with khurram n how she was harassed just bcoz she had a talking relationship with a man …! Progression died 1000000 times
One point which i am able to figure out from this interview is that interviewer is trying to find logic in love. Hassan needs to understand that its an emotional + magical love story. If you try finding logic in love story, then it cannot be love story...it will be strategic arrangement. At one point where Hassan is asking that why Hala's secret is so much hyped and that Hala is not able to tell the exact stuff to Hamza. I just want to explain that before asking this question, understand the history of Hala's character. The way she has been treated since her childhood, when no one was with her and no one trusted her, how could she confess any such damaging stuff infront of a single person(that too whom she loves so much) who loves her and trusts her. She was severly scared to lose him. Hamza was the only person in her life who was with her at that point. Kudos to the director and writers to consistently carry the character in contained way throughout 40 episodes. There was no drastic transition and every scene was flowing with expected intensity.
So sad to see a art maker to talk about views to save the grace for this drama he should be talking about technicality ...

Society needs to reflect on where it is heading if this is the type of content that is becoming a block-buster. He talked about Aangan as well and Aangan was way superior than Mere Humsafar. I have no hope for this industry anymore.
