I agree with you doctor. I have COPD and I wear my oxygen most of the time. I need the small concentrator and I am told by my oxygen delivery person no I cannot have it. He is very negative and hurts my feelings badly. Thank you.

The information about air travel with oxygen is woefully outdated. No airlines provide oxygen for patients anymore; patients must travel with portable oxygen concentrators (POCs). When she says "they are not allowed to take the oxygen with them on the plane," she means they are not allowed to take oxygen in cylinders. But if the patient needs oxygen during the various phases of the flight, s/he must use a POC, and most airlines require (1) notification in advance of the flight and (2) a form signed by the patient's doctor.
i have COPD. last summer i was in the ER every 30 days. that winter i was taking lots of steroids and using 4 inhalers and a neb. now i use steroids twice a week and 2 inhalers and no neb. i use MMS 1/2 drop. i am so much better i racked leaves 15 mins yesterday PEACE

ya,no,we live in as 4- plex apt.and the people downstairs both smoke cartons of cigarettes and they both use two oxigen tanks. For whatever reason,cause they bo try h smoke while using the oxigen ,does this make any sense?? they are in early fifties,and do massive drugs..this is totally fuked up..need some help here.their gonna wind up,blowing this whole 4- plex up..what are the laws in seaford DE.?????????????
