Thanks for your honesty . It's refreshing to see a regular family travelling on a budget that most people can relate to. We have stopped following a few you tubers that have become puppets for big companies and talk more about their fancy rigs than actual travel. Love you guys, and all your content, even when it isn't all roses.
Thanks Vickie. We are just a regular family, with a dad that likes to create videos and share his adventures. Were so grateful to have you watching and supporting our channel, thanks for the kind comment.
We like watching everything you make for RUclips and will keep up with your latest updates. Be great to see you continuing to see you living your dreams! All the best.
You guys are really kind to disclose your personal details. Thankyou for being so open. Your videos are informative and love how you don't rely on using sensational click bait titles. I hope you continue growing .❤
I love how GENUINE and honest you guys are. You say it how it is (Good & bad), you laugh at yourselves yet the love and care you show for each is admirable. I hope you get the next 5 years without having to make change. Goodluck.
Hey Brett & Mel, thanks for sharing your story and for being so honest (as always). We love watching your channel and look forward to the new vid each week. What you see is what you get! It's great that your RUclips income has increased, and you can continue travelling full-time. Enjoy Perth, safe travels, and catch you next week ❤
Another great video guys. For the last 24years we’ve owned an online company which makes us the perfect digital nomads but we’ve never had the urge to travel, go figure. We have never stayed in a caravan let alone towed one anywhere but about 12months ago in a fit of madness we decided to build a caravan (in our driveway). To know how to caravan we watch people like you guys to get an idea of what to do. Turns out we’re very good at building caravans but the desire to use it is still a problem. Anyway we’ll keep watching you guys and hopefully we’ll get excited enough to go somewhere when it’s finished.
start small, take some short trips and make them great. I'd suggest splurging on a some nice hip camps or finding some good free camps so you get the real experience and not being stacked in a Caravan Park somewhere. Happy building.
@@SvedosTrippin Yep great advice and we will definitely be doing that. The van is very similar yours (18') with a Cruismaster suspension so no parks. We also live on the Sunshine Coast Qld and the kids tell there's plenty of options within an hour of home. They've been doing this camping/caravanning thing for years and now that they've stopped laughing at us they're all pretty keen to help us have a grouse experience.
Thank you sincerely for your candid views. We are contemplating the big lap next year and find your channel the most helpful of the youtubers travelling around Oz. As well, you have a lovely family and I would only wish you well in your travels, and hope that the recent spate of bad luck is behind you. I also notice that you take the time to reply to an inordinate number of queries.....that is quite remarkable and I do hope your "regular" watcher numbers swell to boost that youtube income. The effort you put into them is obvious, especially as you tinker with different editing tools to enhance our viewing experience, so much appreciated.
Thanks John, this is such a lovely comment and its so nice to hear your appreciation for the effort we put in to the videos. Glad to have you here watching them.
Wish we had done this a lot sooner. We've tented, camping through Central Australia, travelled in a Kombi for a dozen years when I had annual leave, and for nine years we owned a Sprinter Motorhome, selling this last May. Now, we motel it, travelling in a 4wd suv. Hopefully we hope to get over a few health issues and get to see more of this wonderful country. I guess seeing you tackle the challenges in your younger years, makes sense. We look at all the grey nomads with their humongous caravan and 4wd, or Motorhome, spending their kids inheritance and think your plan is the better one. Yes, I guess, you could say I'm a little envious, but have no regrets. Happy travels, I hope your plans are fulfilled. Ps, don't forget there's an eastern end to Australia. Cheers..😊
Thank you, this comment really means alot. We do have our doubts for sure but also are fairly confident we won't look back on this with regrets. Don't worry, we have plans to head back East, it never ceases to amaze me just how fast you can travel from one side of Aus to the other. It will be done in the blink of an eye, just a few things to finish off over here and take care of before we relocate.
Hey guys! 🚐 Just watched your latest video and found it to be one of the most honest and informative reflections of how people fund their full time caravan travels. We now understand why you love being on the road full time given your love for all things flora and fauna. We think you guys are amazing and love being inspired by your adventures. Thank you for your candidness and I sincerely hope the RUclips income grows exponentially given the hard work you put in to producing your quality vlogs. I really hope that you guys can continue living the dream for as long as you want the dream to last. Stay safe and see you guys next week 👍 kind regards Corrie
This is great! I work online too. We have currently just sold our house and our caravan is currently being built! We hope to set off in May. My husband is a chef so will hopefully supplement our travel expenses.
@AdoRe-y7m Hi mate, thanks for the kind comment. We did recently set up out website and under the about us, there is a donation option. People can also shop at our store or purchase a print to help support us financially. www.svedos.com.au I guess we don't really advertise it as it feels weird asking for donations, but perhaps I should be more forward 🤔.
Thanks for your honest approach to travelling and costs. Well done guys keep up the great work we all appreciate your videos. Take care over the Christmas break and enjoy Perth. Kings Park is a must see.
Great episode, I love watching you guys, you keep it so down to earth and real. it's always interesting to hear how people organise themselves to live on the road because there are so many different ways of approaching it depending on skills, circumstances, goals etc.
Excellent video! Living your best life and exposing your children to all the wonders of Australia. Not always easy but always worth it! Merry Christmas and a great New Year.
You guys are brave, selling your house. But then you are young and can claw your way back to owning a house as you have time. I have just retired and we bought a used 1 year old 16 foot van. After a few short trips to test the van out we are going to venture around Australia, but we have a house to think about. Because of the house we will only go for up to 4 months I think. We have been watching your videos and we want to say thank you for all your advice in helping us in setting up, what to take and not to take, and how to achieve our goals. You guys have been a huge help!
We have enjoyed your videos from when you left home and love that you keep it real and are always honest about life on the road. Enjoy Perth and the South of W.A. Wishing yourself, Mel, Kayla and Owen a very Merry Christmas and looking forward to travelling with you through your videos in 2024.
You guys are so genuine and shown me a lifestyle that I can only wish for. Highly unlikely my wife will agree to your life style. But your video is very interesting and addictive.
Just found your RUclips, really like what I heard, I also live on the road full time, I’m retired, and love everything about being free. I shall look at the rest from the beginning. Good on you both.
Thanks for answering the burning question about how you afford to travel Australia full time. Your story is inspiring, we've been considering a similar adventure. Looking forward to more of your tips and adventures. Cheers for sharing your journey!
Love the honesty ! My family love to camp and go to different places and we do our "research" before going to those places. Your videos are very informative and have helped us a lot. We have subscribed to your channel and will definitely tell our friends about how great your video contents are. Keep up the good work and stay safe ! 😊
Hi from a fellow Vancruiser owner here in Victoria!!! I've watched a few of your videos now and I must admit I was curious to know how you guys managed this financially. Thanks for being open about it and helping others work out their numbers. I've chipped in ever so slightly by subscribing, haha. I'm envious of the path you've taken at your (compared to me) young age and love what you're doing for your kids.
Thanks for the video and honesty. Hoping your income grows from this channel. wonder if there are products you could promote that would help your income. Best of luck Ross
We have a parcel collect account and we simply order things to arrive in a location before we arrive there. Usually we order about 2 weeks ahead. Does this answer your question?

Hi guys
I love your vids some great info. Just wondering do you have an app on your phone where you can can track your budget for trips?
@yvettezwisler6101 no we do it the old fashioned way. Keep all receipts and put them in a spreadsheet.
How’s the VC holding up? We have an outlaw and love it.
yeah, they are solid vans. we love ours.
what do you do for a postal address?
