    Beautiful watch. I like this.

The fact that you don't have to touch the screen has another very important advantage: as this is an expedition oriented watch, you don't have to take off your mountain gloves to access the important functions of a ABC watch. As a mountaineer I was hesitating to get it because of the touch screen thing, but when I went to a store to see it in person and realize you can also do the same thing with the crown... big thumbs up. Very very happy with this watch. Regards!

Love it! I'm not a mountaineer in any way - do you find the size to be an issue while climbing? I personally love the larger size for my uses. Very easy to see and those large pushers are great for the gloves I wear (work gloves). Honestly, I've owned this for a while now, wear it daily, and it still doesn't show a scratch!

@@tenutostudios5029 no, the size is not at issue at all, quite the contrary in fact, as you say, it is very easy to read at a glance and the bioluminescent on the hands and marks work very well in the night. Better than having a dark watch with light on the dial

I like this watch. I have had Casio solar watches that are 20 years old and still work. I have a Garmin solar watch that is almost false advertising for it to be called solar. My question is how is the solar in the Tissot? More Casio like; true solar. Or more Garmin like; it will need charged via usb. Thanks.

Apologies for the late reply - the solar is wonderful in this watch. I use it daily and the only time I've ever charged it via USB was when I first received it! The battery stays full for me, but I imagine this might change if you use it heavily. I believe that Tissot says that it will run for 6 months without a charge or even solar exposure. Pretty amazing watch!

I have this watch and really like it. Tissot states the watch needs to be exposed to the sun or the charger for 2.5 hours every 6 months to keep the watch running. Eiither way I have never seen the battery below 1 bar. I also like the fact that if the watch is not being worn, it goes into a standby mode where the hands do not move. It still keeps track of the time and then you press the crown sets the hands to the correct position. It even does this at night.

Bought the watch, it's a nice watch, but a nightmare to go through the menu for my taste. Way too complicated. I actually would wish to activate the touch panel with just a tip in the middle of the watch and lock it too like that. So very different taste how to control the watch. Also, I hope some day they get rid of the NBA App and replace it with something more useful.
Another one is that you can't Display time and date both together, so when it's dark I always need to switch to time display in the watch.

I completely agree - I've been wishing for a time/date display from Tissot, too - they definitely have the know-how (and the display screen area) to be able to pull it off in a classy way.

Is it a rose gold or yellow gold color?

Apologies for the late reply - I'd call it a shade of gold that's a bit closer to rose. It's a very pleasant gold as far as I'm concerned... not "GOLD," but "gold." I like that it's not crazy bling! It also holds up extremely well - I use it pretty heavily (in many situations I probably shouldn't, honestly), and there is not a scratch on it yet. That PVD application of the gold is truly remarkable.
