I first discovered some of these lines in Shakhmatny Bulletin from 1973-74.... it had been reprinted by Chess Digest as "Chess Opening Theory from Russia," a year or two later. The Benko Gambit was becoming all the rage in the mid-70s -- at least in the USA -- owing to Pal Benko's games and analysis. (Of course, in Russia, the Benko was the Volga Gambit.) I had a lot of success after replying 4. Nc3 -- I always got a good/winning game, even if I blew a few of the positions as they progressed beyond my tactical prowress. When/How did it become known as the Nescafe Frappe Attack? I'd heard of the N-F-A, but never made the connection to a line I first played almost 45 years ago.
Hey!gj...I love your channel too much...which I can't even say in words... GJ CHESS is the best chess channel in the world... @TheGuy WhoPlaysChess Because no one can explain chess like that... Also...he make many series... I think no other channel make series like gj chess do that... Also..,gj chess will upload nice high profile tricks and traps...which are even work against 2300+rating also... I think you are some low rated like 1700 below...
@TheGuy WhoPlaysChess bro...in all videos he is showing some games right..?in this video also he shown a game between 2400and2480...then...you are wrong...these tricks can even work in grandmaster level also...also bro .. these dirty chess tricks to win fast series can also work in classical too... How much your rating...?
Hello Gunter! I'm a huge fan! Your opening knowledge has been very useful in practice for me! I have lately become interested in this line: 1 e4-c5 2.pf3-e6 3.d4-cxd4 4.Nxd4-Bc5!? I have done some analysis in this line and find it very intresting because there are a lot of intresting ideas and possible traps. It's also not too much theory and there aren't a lot of games. I would maybe like to see your expertise with this particular variation in a video if that would be possible. Regards! IM Dardha
This attack is really the most deadly attack against black i have ever seen and all lines are very forcefull and black has actually no good defense against it.
Yes axb5 only right move or Qa5 3:57 Nxe4 obvious mistake 5:50 now Nxe4 is obvious and looks pretty good but probably black not going to take it because looks risky and didn't know line maybe g6 but if black is know this line probably going to play Nbd7
If black knows this tricky line and plays all the right moves up to Ba6 and then even B x b5, stockfish has a 0.4 advantage for black. If it was true that white was still better at this point then grandmasters would play it as white, but they don't. Never believe anything without proof. That said it is a great tricky line.
CAN YOU GIVE US A NICE CHESS PROBLEM AFTER EXPLAINING TRICKS IF YOU GIVE PROBLEMS I WISH IT MUST BE PERPLEXING HAVE A COFEE AND PLAY ENERGETICALLY I SAY THIS BECAUSE WHEN I AM PLAYING A TOURNAMENT WITH SICK I CAN MAKE NICE PERFORMANCE WITH THE HELP OF TEA AND COFEE
The best chess lectures I ever had, GJ is undoubtedly the best chess coach across the entire RUclips.

Sir can you suggest some amateur openings as white?
You can just play e4-d4 against anything but Nf6 and it will be an interesting variation.
welcome back idol
Timeless content

At time 20:00 instead of Nd2 we should play Bd5 to trap Queen
So nasty Pin!!!
