Listening to this almost 4 years later is so nostalgic. The piece where my sister broke the tom. I didn't even notice because I was too busy playing the oboe part.
I played timpani for this price this week for my concert. I have to say, the 7/8 was so unique I’ve never played anything like it and absolutely LOVED IT! By far one of my favourite pieces to play.
This was my favorite song out of my whole senior year of high-school And the funny thing is I don't think my band teacher realized that he scrapped this piece and brought it back 2 years later
Im playing this in concert band, and a bunch of the other eight graders complain about how boring theor parts are and I have two things to tell them: 1. Pick a better instument 2. The whole point of having multiple instruments is to provide layers to the music, if everyone plays the melody it won't sound as good. Listen to any grade piece where everyone plays the same thing, its not that impressive, but with just a little bit more diversity and all of a sudden it is much more beautiful

The low brass killed it🥶👌😱👏👏👏👏👏👏
As a rush fan, I see this as an absolute win.
