Lost in Space had the best music of any TV show in the history of television, in my opinion. I thought so when I first saw it at the age of four, and I still think so now.
Dear God if I won the lottery I would negotiate the rights to the old series, hire you as creative consultant, grant you access to the best animators, hire Michael P. and Nick as well as other voice doubles and recreate the original show as a CGI masterpiece. Oh...the very thought of it warms the cockles of my heart!
Fantastic job Phil!!! Wow, those scenes would have been wild to see in the original episode. You've outdone yourself again. This was absolutely amazing! Thank you and all involved for bringing us these brilliantly crafted sequences. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍 ✌❤🙂
Thank you once again for posting this story you really did a great job the giants were the best monster on the show could have been more story lines to this the robinsons would be in constant danger with these creatures. 😃😃😃😃
It made the cyclops giant more sympathetic especially since he didn’t try to hurt Penny. I thought the robot shot electrical rays out of his arms not lasers. But it doesn’t matter it was all great!
Great work ! It is pleasant to see that Lost in Space still can bring the same emoticons since the first time I saw. I am very proud of my B-9 Robot, Jupiter II and Cyclop (Playing Mantis kits).
Penny offering the flower to the monster, made me think of the scene of Maria offering Frankenstein a daisy. We all know how that ended. He unintentionally drowned Maria. Both monsters "seemed" benevolent 🤔
I'm glad this scene with the robot and the giant was not in the episode. that would have killed the first encounter Don and John had seeing the giant for the first time as the big reveal..
I remember all of us talking about a fan-made Lost in Space movie project back in November and December of 2005 Phil. I saved all the e-mails and it was a lot of fun. Most of the rest of us only talked about it but you actually went ahead and did it - and it turned out great!
Wow, great job recreating the look and feel of the sets and lighting from those episodes. I wonder if these scenes were originally intended to show that it was Doctor Smith's fault that the giant was hostile to them?
Awesome to see those - I understand the scenes were shot - There was one where the giant grabbed John as there was a publicity still, also with the flower Penny gave him Nice 3D Phil
Originally the Cyclops were suspposed to be an ongoing menace on Priplanus for the Robinsons.. But after like ep 8 the Robinson kids were regularly wandering about with no supervision even in the middle of night. So much for Priplanus being a dangerous world
I actually have the Aurora model kit / remake that was based on this episode . But to go with the figures I switched out the undersized Chariot and replaced it with the 1 /24'th scale B 9 Robot from the 1/24 'th scale Chariot kit . B 9 is a little bit taller than the other figures but that's OK B 9 was the tallest of the group and it looks a lot more accurate .
Wish the series had the robot walking like this throughout. I HATED the Bermuda shorts walk. It turned the robot from a formidable machine into the Kool Aid walking pitcher.
Professor John Robinson never wore a full-face helmet flying the jet pack. Likewise, the robot never shot a straight particle or 'laser' beam like the crew's small arms, *IF you're going to reproduce material, stick to what we all saw, not your imagination. This stuff is way too camp. Regards from Tuckombil via Alstonville and East Ballina 800km north of Sydney. MATE.
These were deleted scenes. We don’t know what we would have seen so I used my imagination and what makes sense. If I had used a lightning bolt there would be those that complain that we never saw the robot do that either. Can’t win. MATE.
You might also check your memory. Robinson and West wore open face white helmets with a tassle on them My modeling skills at the time were limited so I found something close although not exact.
Problem of the design of this robot was could tip over to easy and guy in suit could get injured or killed as parts of suit were heavy, lucky for him he survived. This is CGi and not original.
The suspension of disbelief is high with this one. A creature that size would need a considerable amount of food to survive. Judging from the planet there isn't much for him to eat
Wonderful Work! 55 years later seeing the Robot encounter the Giant and the footprints is amazing!
Hats off to Michael Panzarotto.
One of the best voice impressions of Johnathon Harris I've yet heard.
Lost in Space had the best music of any TV show in the history of television, in my opinion. I thought so when I first saw it at the age of four, and I still think so now.
John Williams scored it.
@@MarleneSnelling Yes, and some of his best work, in my opinion.

Phil, this is incredible! What a great idea, showing these often talked about, but never seen deleted scenes!
Fantastic job Phil!!!

👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
✌❤🙂
Way to go, Phil! These get better every time! The Robot following the giant's trail was my favorite, but I loved all the vignettes!
Awesome, great animation and presentation. This is was one of favourite episodes in the entire series.
That 'Jetpack' music always brings back such lovely memories of watching LIS in England. This is so good, thank you :)
That poor giant was tormented in the deleted scenes no wonder it was angry in the aired episode!.
Thank you once again for posting this story you really did a great job the giants were the best monster on the show could have been more story lines to this the robinsons would be in constant danger with these creatures. 😃😃😃😃
I am so happy to see u r still putting these episodes out
It made the cyclops giant more sympathetic especially since he didn’t try to hurt Penny. I thought the robot shot electrical rays out of his arms not lasers. But it doesn’t matter it was all great!
Actually, in the season 3 episode "The Space Primevals" it was shown that the Robot also had lasers that fired from it's claws.
06:23 THAT'S Dr. Smith's voice from the 1st season EXACTLY!
It's got the same eerie, sinister flair to it.
If the had these scenes in we would have seen more of The giants.
The giant is as frightened of the robot as the robot was of him!
Perspectives were very well done, giving a sense of camera movement & characters on screen.
When I was a kid this was my absolute favorite show never missed an episode
That was great! Thanks for creating and posting this!
The voice of Dr.Smith is brilliant!!!!
I have seen others do stuff like this, but not as well. The voices, the music and the thought behind these scenes really sold me. Nice job!
These are tops keep them coming!
Great work !

INCREDIBLE!!!!! Have you seen the publicity still of Professor Robinson in the jetpack blasting the giant with his laser pistol?
Thank you! Met you many years ago in Dallas. Your work is much appreciated.
Thank you, I really appreciate it this video.
Excellent video, excellent creation! BTW The studios decision cut was the right decision. Brazil 🇧🇷
I'm glad this scene with the robot and the giant was not in the episode. that would have killed the first encounter Don and John had seeing the giant for the first time as the big reveal..
the giant amanita muscaria mushrooms were a good touch !!
Just brilliant work...brilliant!
That explains a lot about this episode and the missing pieces
WONDERFUL!
Amazing work!
I must compliment the voice acting done for Dr. Smith.
Many thanks!!
It was done by a fine fellow with the genetic gift of PERFET one-to-one mimicry of Jonathan Harris... Michael Panzarotto.
@@tripsadelica Michael is wonderful just wonderful channeling Harris

Bravo! Bravo! Bravo!
well done phil
Michael has channeled Jonathan's voice perfectly. As Jonathan would say: "Splendid, dear boy."
great stuff, did John also get snatched out of the sky by the Cyclops?
Totally Awesome
Fantastic! Very nice work. Best Regards.
That was cool! Too bad you couldn’t do the entire episode. Well done!
It's both amazing and a little sad that your "bloop" looks better than the one in the original series, and better than the "blarp" in the movie.
Awesome to see those - I understand the scenes were shot - There was one where the giant grabbed John as there was a publicity still, also with the flower Penny gave him
Nice 3D Phil
great job
It appears that the Cyclops Giant would've had a bigger role than in the final edited version.
Originally the Cyclops were suspposed to be an ongoing menace on Priplanus for the Robinsons.. But after like ep 8 the Robinson kids were regularly wandering about with no supervision even in the middle of night. So much for Priplanus being a dangerous world
Great video thanks for your time and help 😊

Sure puts a different spin on the giant, doesn't it?
How can you have a deleted scene if it was never filmed? The title of the video is misleading. I'm deducting points for that...⚠️
Deleted scenes FROM THE SCRIPT! Written. Not filmed.
Timeless TV series... cool graphics! 👍
The B9 legs are not season accurate...
Wow!!!Great scenes and video!
Genial ver lost in space en. Estas faenas escenicas 👊👌
Zeus bless you for this!
Great job!
How on earth did you get Dr. Smith's voice? Or his face for that matter! And the robot?!!
Wish the series had the robot walking like this throughout. I HATED the Bermuda shorts walk. It turned the robot from a formidable machine into the Kool Aid walking pitcher.
Now I understand why the Cyclops tried to Wax the Robinsons . Dr Smith was again the cause
Outstanding!

This was the only episode where the jet pack was used it was great they should have used it in other episodes.
Check out the lost adventure's comic book, from about ten years back. Smith uses the jetpack.
Smith, close! Penny....no...Cyclops...too much mousse... Robot vlcharacter..on point, voice a but off ...ANIMATION...FANTASTIC !
Watched this show in the 60s. I thought the Robot was the best character
You already messed up. That is not the season 1 robot.

Click bait.
Meters? give me a break with that euro crap.
Keep up the fantastic work
