This guy is better than any skier or boarder I've ever seen. Effortlessly finding lines on such extreme terrain!

Lets goooo! Love seeing athletes turning a focus to safety, avalanche education, and mountain skills beyond skiing, and then telling stories about doing that is just the cherry on top. Setting a solid example Karl, thank you!

The way he leapt out and hugged Karl as soon as he was dug out ... solid rescue.

That was the coolest downhill action I've seen since Ramón said "Oh, I love gravity" in the original Happy Feet (2006).

Ohh shit! The other guy with snowboard was lucky indeed. Not to die on Avalance. Bit more snow, and...
Looks fun but very dangerous. Been once in avalance in Val d'isere off piste (with local guide and a group of 4 skiers). Then there was only pipers in the neck, no airbags.
That was my last run in off piste. Life won over adrenaline.

all cool shit. all that matters is to stay humble. regardless of training, experience, status, cool videos...humility will keep you and your clients alive. chill. and be grateful no matter how legendary you become. True legends, respect beyond anything anyone can grasp.

With all due respect, the snowboarder's line sucked, and he carried no speed and slid into a crevasse looking like a kook way over his head. Literally.. The rest of the video was epic.
