Just a bully. Her MMA record supports this. She trained judo from the age of three, some of her title defenses were against women who started martial arts to lose baby weight. Holly started boxing and kickboxing as a child and matador'd her into that high kick, she pouted for a year. Amanda Nunes is the person Rhonda told us she was, it took her less than three minutes to run her out of the sport. I actually blame Vince more than Ronda for her shit run. Vince always had an insecurity about originality, overvaluing it over naturalness, and didn't know how to handle others who disagreed with that approach AKA actually had a full understanding of the business. The Kliq could push Vince around not just by sheer manpower, but also because they could have working flexibility in their characters and were vitally helping bring in the big bucks in their day, so Vince had to cave. Ronda, being marketed as someone coming over from real fighting sports, only really worked as a heel-like how Kurt Angle started but more scathing-and was more helping an already-comfortable-ish product, so while it's kind of admirable how she tried to take control of her own character, it just wasn't going to be allowed to work. That said, her salty post-WWE behavior isn't doing her image any favors, either. But it may not matter as revisiting her would be pointless; successful or failed, her sort of character has pretty much ran its course.
you seem like the type who would blame vince for world wars and hunger too. sometimes, there isnt anything that the promoter can do. ronda's attitude just sucked, and she was never willing to learn. funny if you think the guy who made wwe as big as it is didnt "have an understanding" for the business, when he is the one who, in reality, made the business.

I get what you mean but Savage could put on a good match even if it wasn't entirely planned out beforehand. With Ronda you can see the cracks in her wrestling ability when the match wasn't choreographed for her.
They never needed to make her completely unstoppable like they did just because she WOULD win in a real life fight. I mean, the proof is literally right on the other side with Brock Lesnar. He was also a UFC Champion but they didn't have him dominate every person and win every match just because he would win the real life fight. It really was right off the bat where they fucked up. Alexa Bliss did such a great job carrying their feud and making it hype. Had they just had a competitive match, which should be fine considering Alexa was a FIVE TIME CHAMPION, everything would have been perfectly fine. Ronda could have won and looked strong without it being a squash. History has proven time & time again that people get tired of that kind of thing, especially since it's not like Ronda does extremely impressive feats. When Brock for example is squashing guys, we'd see Suplex City shit where he's doing ridiculous athletic feats that guys just don't do. It also helps that he's a legitimately a fantastic pro wrestler whenever he wants to be. Ronda being better than expected is not even close to the same ballpark and the ego was just the icing on the shit cake.
I was into Ronda at first before she came to WWE when she was still in UFC but when she started disrespecting the wrestling business during the rivalry with Becky Lynch, that’s when I lost interest and respect for her at that point. Her mouth, ego and lack of thick thin turned her into her own worst enemy.
MMA fans or wrestling fans who were also MMA fans knew how Rhonda was so this was not a surprise at all! She’s talented to be sure but she was such a snowflake both in the UFC and in WWE!
For somebody maintaining such a tough image she's incredibly sensitive, acts like an actual diva and caused no end of issues backstage. She was rude and ungrateful for the money and chance she was being given by WWE after her MMA career was over after two big losses. She was building her reputation back from rock bottom and WWE gave her the platform and push to do it, she just felt she knew better than they did on how to get her over and had no respect for the business.
I think we could have seen her attitude issues before she started. She clearly thought she was invincible in MMA. Then she lost 2 matches and pouted and quit. When it was shown that she wasn't unbeatable, just very good at MMA she couldn't handle it.
Hot take. I don't think her run was that bad and the second one I blame more on Vince then Ronda She absolutely should have came back a heel and faced Lynch. And yeah her comments were out of line if she wanted to be a wrestler. I think you have her come back and squash a few of the undercard have a feud with an undercard face and build her up to face Lynch. Or even the tag division if it had more time could have been something better If she could have had more coaching and prep how to be a heel and learn the heel character side I think it would have been much better.
She’s just not a nice person and doesn’t know how to be a WWE wrestler. She cries about everything and complains about the women’s division in WWE even though she didn’t have to work hard to make a name for herself unlike everyone else did
She had a crazy amount of momentum heading into WWE and had every opportunity to make it big but she just couldn't keep her mouth shut and be humble. Vince was a big part of her failure too because he immediately wanted her to be a special attraction like a female Lesnar but she wasn't even close to his level since he already had a big wrestling background. She really should have started off on NXT for a bit to learn the basics and improve but she felt that was beneath her. Overall she's one of the biggest flops in wrestling history.
she loved what wrestling did for her but she didn't love it. guys like dan severn and ken shamrock crossed over into wrestling and they are legends in the business. how ronda didn't take a cue from them, i'll never know.
Its a combination of biased stupid people who are just so invested into something that anytime when a person loses they turn on them instantly and they get triggered when someone they hate reveals things about something they love and they thus go on the attack. What angers me the most about these people attacking Ronda is they dont do what she did by getting into a MMA fight and know how hard it is. They think its easy and they can do it. Yet they dont ever tell Ronda to her face about why they hate her they just do it from afar from their parents houses on the internet. Ronda wasnt a bad fighter at all. Was her confidence confused with being cocky? Possibly. But look at the run she was on. And as far as WWE goes these fans who follow WWE believe this crap is real and the character are real and during scripted matches they believe its real fighting. And when Ronda beat whomever omg lets go on the attack and say shes terrible. Yes Ronda did bash WWE verbally but here is the thing. OTHERS HAVE TOO. Are you people so biased to where you cant accept that Ronda said things towards something you all love? How come others can bash WWE but she cant? And you hardcore wrestling fans turn your backs to alot of things WWE has done and got away with that was messed up. Why? Cause you people are so blinded by your love of wrestling anyone bashes it you go on the attack. And as far as the claim oh she didnt come up from the independent scenes and put in the time. Um how many people entered into WWE that were never part of other companies before and you all were fine with this? Im reminded of the Miz. A guy who came in from a reality TV show who never was part of any other companies ever. Yet he entered into WWE and fans were fine with him not wrestling elsewhere. David Arquette entered WCW and never wrestled a match before and got to be WCW champion. Mark Henry came from power lifting and didnt put in anytime in the independent scenes before. I can think of other names too of people fans accepted. But when Ronda enters WWE and didnt put in time elsewhere lets just bash her for it. Its so stupid. It shows some wrestling fans are so biased and hateful.
In general can we just not have Wrestling become a dumping ground for attention seeking former MMA fighters? They never respect Wrestling the same way as those who dedicated their lives to it.
That was the point. It was a MMA fighter kicking the shit out of a barbie doll. They played right into that for the match and in the ring. Sorry but that was perfect.
I still like her I think she would make a perfect bad guy if done right i’m not opposed of women main event wrestlemania I think it should’ve stayed at one on one match triple threat match. I didn’t Charlotte flair was a bad idea. Should be Charlotte vs asuka
Most of these problems are because of bad booking. It's not her fault that WWE chose to book her as dominant as they did and that the fans couldn't believe that her opponents could realistically beat her. It's also not her fault that WWE chose to book her as a face against Becky who was white hot at the time. The only thing I'd hold against her is breaking kayfabe and exposing the business in her tweets but maybe that was a work and any competent booker would have turned her heel due to that. Her berating the fans didn't do her any favors but I think she gets a lot of undeserved hate.
So much hype but so little talent. A female Goldberg. She can't wrestle. And she can't cut a decent promo. Sad how better wrestlers had to jobbed to her to make her look good. And the nerve of her talking mess about Vince and WWE when she had everything handed to her. And she will possibly be inducted into the WWE HOF one day. Which is sad. She clearly has no respect for the business.

She couldn't hang, unfortunately. She had the tools to be a terrific wrestler, but she really couldn't separate the pageantry from real life.
You’re supposed to make it look real and believable. She made it legitimate. This is why no one takes wrestling seriously anymore bro
Do a video on Chris Kanyon
Ronda just doesn’t have the personality.
MMA fans or wrestling fans who were also MMA fans knew how Rhonda was so this was not a surprise at all! She’s talented to be sure but she was such a snowflake both in the UFC and in WWE!
She's the female ryback
For somebody maintaining such a tough image she's incredibly sensitive, acts like an actual diva and caused no end of issues backstage. She was rude and ungrateful for the money and chance she was being given by WWE after her MMA career was over after two big losses. She was building her reputation back from rock bottom and WWE gave her the platform and push to do it, she just felt she knew better than they did on how to get her over and had no respect for the business.
After the way she flounced out of MMA after a couple of losses it was obvious how it would end up going
I'd like to see her take on Minoru Suzuki for the giggles... 😅
I’ve always liked Ronda, and for some reason I can’t stop liking her, I think I have a problem
i have always hated her from strikforce mma
I’m pretty sure she hates you too crybaby too bad you couldn’t whoop her ass
Rhonda needsserious help,seriously.😅😅😅😅😅😅
Lifelong wwe fan? You could never guess that by listening to her. She is a very hard person to like, just by how she carries herself.
I think we could have seen her attitude issues before she started. She clearly thought she was invincible in MMA. Then she lost 2 matches and pouted and quit. When it was shown that she wasn't unbeatable, just very good at MMA she couldn't handle it.
She seems like she has a very high opinion of herself combined with a generally bad attitude.
Hot take.
I don't think her run was that bad and the second one I blame more on Vince then Ronda
She absolutely should have came back a heel and faced Lynch. And yeah her comments were out of line if she wanted to be a wrestler.
I think you have her come back and squash a few of the undercard have a feud with an undercard face and build her up to face Lynch.
Or even the tag division if it had more time could have been something better
If she could have had more coaching and prep how to be a heel and learn the heel character side I think it would have been much better.
Wwe didn't help any at all and there's alot going on and I hear a lawsuit was under the table. Wish I knew what that was about.
Brilliant! You absolutely nailed it on this one. Ronda is a jerk.
She’s just not a nice person and doesn’t know how to be a WWE wrestler. She cries about everything and complains about the women’s division in WWE even though she didn’t have to work hard to make a name for herself unlike everyone else did
Ronda practically became the female Koji Kitao.
I totally understand Ronda though.
Ronda just didnt understand how prowrestling works despite being a lifelong fan
She had a crazy amount of momentum heading into WWE and had every opportunity to make it big but she just couldn't keep her mouth shut and be humble. Vince was a big part of her failure too because he immediately wanted her to be a special attraction like a female Lesnar but she wasn't even close to his level since he already had a big wrestling background.
She really should have started off on NXT for a bit to learn the basics and improve but she felt that was beneath her.
Overall she's one of the biggest flops in wrestling history.
It's been 10 years since Rousey was at her peak.
She moved on with her life , she is doing creative writing and had no plans of returning
She reeks of disingenuousness
she loved what wrestling did for her but she didn't love it. guys like dan severn and ken shamrock crossed over into wrestling and they are legends in the business. how ronda didn't take a cue from them, i'll never know.
People always seem to forget Ronda did not win her title in the ufc.
She was so overrated and so unlikeable also she couldn’t cut a promo and the way she was pushed was lame
I still like her I think she would make a perfect bad guy if done right i’m not opposed of women main event wrestlemania I think it should’ve stayed at one on one match triple threat match. I didn’t Charlotte flair was a bad idea. Should be Charlotte vs asuka
I like her
I use to Tell Everyone Ronda Rousey was my Baby's mamma. After I heard Everything and seen all the "Reciepts." I take it back that baby not mine.
Girl looses one fight and retired 😂
I still think Ronda is kool😎
I didn't like her gimmick either. Sure, you can channel the great Roddy Piper, but make it your own instead of poorly borrowing.
Although Goldberg was unsafe, can't wrestle but at least he doesn't trash WWE unlike Ronda.
Even Benoit would have deserved more (from a sporting perspective) to come to the HoF. After all, he was a brilliant wrestler & had great respect for the business.
@@Cooljohn760this is why wrestlings dead and only taken serious by children 🤣 because the children that still watch it scoff at the idea of a new Goldberg; literally one of the biggest stars of all time in wrestling and brings legitimacy.
rolling with the punches was never rondas strong suit lolol
Ronda Rousey's cocky attitude and ego was her own downfall. She thought she was entitled to everything. She was the inaugural first UFC women champion, but the UFC title was given to her on a silver platter. Ronda didn't even deserve to be a WWE women champion. She was a bad wrestler.
Nobody likes an entitled, narcissistic, spoiled brat. That's exactly what Ronda is. Life goes on.
