He's the first to really surprised you? Well. That happened to me too. At first I love D.O. (basically what you see is what you get) and I also only knew Kai as the pretty boy, the dancer, the center, the visual. But then i got to know him more and more. You know, like peeling an onion you're able to understand the core of someone, and he shocked me because he's actually not just a pretty boy. He's so much more than that. Plus he has great taste in everything. Talents + great taste = killer combo.
Kai's family are down to earth people and they always hold him accountable, that's why Kai couldn't say the word "breast" on tv. He knew his mom would watch it and would be ashamed of his behavior. His nephew and niece also show him that he's just their uncle, noty special, although Kai's a world renowned star and his solo career is as thriving as in the group. His voice is unique, one of the most memorable and recognizable voices I've heard. He's actually a baritone but sings tenor parts. At first I also feel the same way about Kai, I believed he'll be sexy and that's all, but I started to like him after I realized he was really wise, that he really care for his members, family and friend, that he love dancing so much not to be liked but just for the joy of doing it, and I also love how much effort he puts into everything to be good or at least decent in every aspect. Kai's a true visionary, he's so much involved into his solo projects, he even put his own money into solo debut to up the budget his company had allocated to make all his ideas come true. Kai's art himself. I can't think of anyone as artistic as him and he's always a trend setter. That's why he inspires so many other idols. The only complaint i have about tgis guide is that it's edited so as if Kai was a bad student at school which isn't true. Hus family knew he wasn't promised a career in SMEnt, so going to the university was a backup plan, so Kai always studied well in case his school certificate would play a big role. So he actually did it all: danced, trained at SMEnt and earned good grades to have all the sides covered.

Kai has 3 mini solo albums -- Kai, Peaches and Rover -- with 6 songs on each album. (ICU is just a cover of a song that Kai sang and choreographed a dance to. It wasn't his song.) His solo debut song was "Mmmh" on his self-titled album Kai in 2020, then his next album was Peaches in 2021 with his title track "Peaches," and then his album Rover with its title track "Rover" MV, which came out in March 2023.
I am not really into exo, but Kai always pulls me to him. Peaches is a masterpiece. I know Kai because he is best friend with Taemin (Shinee) and Jimin (BTS).

Yes, Kai is a lot more than a pretty boy. He has had a strong, supportive upbringing making him a gentle, thoughtful man. As he has grown in confidence, the humour and wit it seen more. It was the dance that got me, but I was also surprised when I first identified the two voices I was most drawn to - they belonged to Kai and Chanyeol. I still love both of their voices. For those who love dance, Nini is a godsend! He tells stories & paints pictures through dance & music. For me, it's not just how he moves & interprets music using a combination of dance styles but also how he emotes through facial expressions and gestures (e.g., his killer smile & signature wink). More importantly, his expressions are exquisite and not cheesy/cringy. All of this makes him a performer par excellence! While watching Nini dance, I always feel as if he transcends to another realm which brings him immense joy. As for the music, Nini has a unique color & flavor (yes, flavor) to his voice and a distinct style of music. One of my favorite Nini songs is 'To Be Honest'. Kai the Demon Child! But he's not just any demon child, he's OUR demon child! hahaha He sets every stage on fire with his dance moves and his vocal stability is really really amazing! He dances the most in every live performance but his vocals never wavers. Yes, his voice is not as great as our main vocalists but his tone is very unique in a lovely way. As mentioned by the other EXO-Ls, check out EXO - Promise, a very special song composed by Lay. They mostly sing this song towards the end of their concerts.

That is another aspect that has drawn me (and many others) to them through the years and why I support them since many years now. We EXO-Ls often use this expression about Kai 'Kai is Art' and that is because he is extremely artistic. To get an idea of what we mean by that you should react to both of his Kai Films (which are snippets of the songs of two of his albums) where Kai is heavily involved in the production of these two videos. These videos will also give you a taste of his music and you may be surprised, as many others, with his vocal ability. Because of the focus on his amazing dancing, his vocal ability did not come forward very much in many EXO songs (you have to listen to b-sides to hear more of him singing), but with his 3 solo albums, he has shown everyone what a vocal talent was hiding in plain sight. He does R&B in a fantastic way and I am sure you will come to enjoy many of his songs.

Hello!! So happy to see you react to EXO, I have been enjoying your reactions a lot! Kai has a lot of solo songs because he released 3 mini albums in solo already! At the time this guide was made however only one album was out I believe but he made dance videos for all the songs in there since his focus point is dancing. I also wanted to extend on universe and sing for you, they are title tracks of EXO's winter albums. In the past, Exo used to release a main full album in summer, then a repackage a few months after and in winter they released a winter mini album, with a much calmer title track. They stopped doing that sadly in 2017, with Universe being their last winter album...
2nd part ans last part haha, the song Promise is a beautiful song, you should definitely check the live version and not the studio one. The story behind this song is that despite EXO's motto being "we are one", 3 members left the group in 2014 and 2015. It was a very dark moment of uncertainty and darkness for EXO, so they wrote this song as an apology for "betraying" the motto and making a new promise that they will continue strong all together. This is why EXO and EXO-L are very sensitive about EXO being 9.

Now that I think about it, EXO has tried almost everything a kpop idol can be. Singing, acting, modelling, hosting etc. And they're actually doing a very good job in those fields too. Tbh, skill set wise, EXO are one of the multitalented group in kpop.
Kai is the singer whose albums idols wait for more than the fans themselves. The dancing icon in K-pop without exaggeration. He has already 3 albums out there. All of them are great. He doesn't have a bad song, seriously. When it comes to kai, many people will think like your first impression about him, but he's a really amazing artist who can do everything. His voice is unique it can be soft and tough. He can sing and rap. I'm not gonna talk about his dancing cause it's perfect. Kai is a work harder, humble and beautiful human too. his comeback this year with "mr. rover" was such a fire. I bet you have heard this song as well, it was everywhere.
Kai the Demon Child! But he's not just any demon child, he's OUR demon child! hahaha
He sets every stage on fire with his dance moves and his vocal stability is really really amazing! He dances the most in every live performance but his vocals never wavers. Yes, his voice is not as great as our main vocalists but his tone is very unique in a lovely way.
As mentioned by the other EXO-Ls, check out EXO - Promise, a very special song composed by Lay. They mostly sing this song towards the end of their concerts.

That is another aspect that has drawn me (and many others) to them through the years and why I support them since many years now. We EXO-Ls often use this expression about Kai 'Kai is Art' and that is because he is extremely artistic. To get an idea of what we mean by that you should react to both of his Kai Films (which are snippets of the songs of two of his albums) where Kai is heavily involved in the production of these two videos. These videos will also give you a taste of his music and you may be surprised, as many others, with his vocal ability. Because of the focus on his amazing dancing, his vocal ability did not come forward very much in many EXO songs (you have to listen to b-sides to hear more of him singing), but with his 3 solo albums, he has shown everyone what a vocal talent was hiding in plain sight. He does R&B in a fantastic way and I am sure you will come to enjoy many of his songs.

Firstly, thank you for the video. When I met EXO, Kai was the member who surprised me the most, besides being a great dancer, he has a very pleasant voice. Today he has 3 mini albums released and all three are great but I must say that his first solo album is of great quality. His musical production is incredible.

Hello!! So happy to see you react to EXO, I have been enjoying your reactions a lot! Kai has a lot of solo songs because he released 3 mini albums in solo already! At the time this guide was made however only one album was out I believe but he made dance videos for all the songs in there since his focus point is dancing. I also wanted to extend on universe and sing for you, they are title tracks of EXO's winter albums. In the past, Exo used to release a main full album in summer, then a repackage a few months after and in winter they released a winter mini album, with a much calmer title track. They stopped doing that sadly in 2017, with Universe being their last winter album...
2nd part ans last part haha, the song Promise is a beautiful song, you should definitely check the live version and not the studio one. The story behind this song is that despite EXO's motto being "we are one", 3 members left the group in 2014 and 2015. It was a very dark moment of uncertainty and darkness for EXO, so they wrote this song as an apology for "betraying" the motto and making a new promise that they will continue strong all together. This is why EXO and EXO-L are very sensitive about EXO being 9.
