Bonus to the shorts version nobody knows you ran out of rope halfway through
😹
Way to give away the secret, man. 🙄🤣
That blink at the end is the finest piece of cinematography ever captured. Well done Steve!
That tortie is totally enjoying a scratch-off session.
I made one of these, didn't bother rounding out the 2x4s, cat loves it. Can't believe they charge so much for these things, it cost me less than $10 to make.
Steve your cat content is amazing! I came to your channel for woodworking, but I stay for the cats!
Thank you for educating me on how to pronounce "sisal". I have been saying "sizzle"for years.....even in my own cat scratch post video!
Looks like Bubbles likes it.
Mission accomplished! :)
Pretty easy to pick out your power tools if they ever "make it" to a pawn shop!
Great video could you please make one like for a simple cat shelter now that winter is around the corner. Thank you 🙏
That is one happy cat
Nice lamp!
I did this to the front legs of my bench. My cat would rather go there than the flat, floor scratching one!
Very clever idea 💡
Love the Bubbles music!
Love your work 👍
Aweee Kitty Kitty loves it! That's a win 💯 🐈💙
Would be better without the rope for better nails
Please more cat builds
You’re a bad man Steve 😅
Hermoso como siempre
I used pvc pipe in the same way
Truly thank You 💕🙏🏻
Awesome idea and the slow blink at the end was adorable. Thank you!
I need to do this.
What a pretty cat, it deserves better than store bought crap! 😻
Love your vids!
Satisfyingly timed blink at the end
I nominate you as cat lady of the year.
Thanks for the idea- I'm going to make one of these. Also, what a gorgeous cat!
What a pretty cat!
sus thumbnail steve 10/10
You might be surprised when I say it, but I do believe it!
I didn't realise there was a mirror in the back so I thought you had two identical cats scratching posts at the same time🤣🤣
Nice, I can't make this because I don't have a cat but this is still cool to see for sure! I didn't even know there was such thing as this until I just saw this video man great job and keep up the great work please!
Nice.
Yay! Another video of Bubbles!! But why no time for Cobra in the short?
DIY! btw you need 40 specialized tools to make this.
Oh stop 🙄
If you create plans and video I’ll buy it for a cat tree
the cat used it as a climbing post rather than a scratching post?
Your cat cool an so are you 😂 😆😂😆😂
in this episode titled... "woodworking & cats"...
Is that the safest glue I want to repair a couple of scratch posts that were store brought and will any old rope be ok ive got a blue one
Steve, why did you paint your Ryobi drill? Just curious
does it hold up well it time using only glue? I used staples on mine and it's still standing but it's longer to make
What angle are you cutting the 2x4's at, Is that a 45 degrees?
🐱🐱🐈🐈🐈 meow
Did it make disappointing click-bait titles because it saw a video about their effectiveness and was late to the party?
What angle were you cutting those 2x4's at ?
As a vet i know a lot of cats won"t use the sisal ( i guess it's to hard on their paws) maybe try a bit softer texture ( use a cocos mat, some thick leahter stuff like that)
Thank you for your service. 😂😂😂
Avoid using any material that resembles the materials on your furniture, clothing, or other expensive/precious items,
or else a lot of things that aren’t scratching posts become scratching posts.
What is the name of this kind of ropes?
Cardboard box would be cheaper. For our cats I just screwed a chunk of 2x4 to the floor and they have a great scratching "post"
You probably would watch a video of that.
@@SteveRamsey Watched both versions of this one too! Keep up the good work!
@Jim Korman
How do you make scratching post with cardboard? I don't have tools to make one for my cat. scratching posts are expensive. can you please give me some advice? thanks in advance :)
@@rubicalixto6773I just saw a short one where the guy made it. Strips of cardboard, corrugated side up, glued together and inside of an upside down box lid. Type in "cardboard scratch" in RUclips search box
That cat is spoiled. My dad never made me anything 🤣
Have you made every object in your house?
What is the height?
I DON'T BELIEVE IT!
A cat used a scratch post and not a couch?!? I don't believe it.
You got another cat?
You forgot the 3 most important steps when having cats.
1. Open front door
2. Allow cat to go out
3. Close door
That hot glue cost more than to buy post online.
Would you watch a video of me buying a scratching post online?
@@SteveRamsey 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Is that how sisal is pronounced? 😭
I feel like getting a dog would be much easier.
Owning no pets would be easiest.
@@SteveRamsey lol you got me there 😁
A cat actually using something you make or buy for them? I don't believe it!
“simple DIY”
*uses a table saw*
It's a pretty simple tool! 👊
Why the "click bait" title Steve? Very disappointed with you.
lol...you won't believe this reply!
Did the title used to not be "DIY scratching post"?
I'm so confused by everyone's comments because this is the least click bait, most straight forward title ever. So maybe he changed it? Either that or people have something wrong with them
Not scratching post.mp4 anymore?
Lol, no, but surprisingly, that was the most watched title out of the 8 I've tested.
