What Company do you mean? I was not a huge Fan of the Mattel Dolls. The Quality was ok but they where so tiny. Im personly love the Witty Toys Dolls. The Jakks Pacifics look cheap and boring. It was OK when Witty Toys later used the Headsculpt of the Jakks Pacifics Dolls so not all look the same. The new Faces now are cute too. The earlier Giochi Preziosi Dolls look nice too. And they could share lothes with other 12 inch Dolls.
Winx Club Is an Italian cartoon that premiered in early 2000's, when I was a kid these dolls were easy to find here in Italy. I didn't know they were popular in America too, but yeah since it's very old finding merch it's difficult.
They're semi popular in the us- when I was 10 in like 2007, and they were kinda popular? But Bratz, Barbie, Betty Spaghetti, and Polly pocket were better. Wix the show was horibbly buded here and never really blew up.
I used to have so many Winx dolls! Layla was always my favourite! Then they changed her name to Ayisha or something... But they are mostly really well designed and they are so flexible in movement!

People sometimes ("sometimes"... -.-) declare things as gifts precisely because they don't want to pay taxes despite it being clearly commercial products. I think there is a limit to how expensive gifts can be and then they check for "does it go to a private adress or a business adress", "is it gift wrapped", "is it in original packaging" etc. Buying things from overseas is fine - because you pay taxes on that anyway - but gifts from strangers could be a problem

If you want to do more fairies then might I suggest doing the iconic ball scene from the 1998 movie 'Ever After'. Drew Barrymore was gorgeous in that fairy outfit.
She is so adorable! Such expressive poses too, which I find brings the whole piece together. Even if the head doesn't have the best movement I think the rest of the body makes up for it.
I'm Italian and I grew up playing with the first waves of Winx dolls (and watching the cartoon, which was produced here) and they were sooooo much better done, looking, everything, it's so sad to see them now... Some Italian who can relate? 🙈🇮🇹
Kind of sad, I used to have awesome Winx dolls with complex outfits that you could interchange and they were well-made ball joint with sturdy plastic and genuinely good makeup. Sucks to see they changed manufacturing methods :( You did it justice though! Keep up the great work! ^-^

The edge that you have compared to other doll artists in youtube are the precise strokes of your lines and the combination of your colors. It makes your doll more realistic and unique with of all the magnificent details you put. Another thing, you are very careful on how you work which I find very amazing.
