    Her name is actually pronounced like "Ali".. (Ah-Lee-Yuh). There were actually 3 initial surviors (Scott Galin, Anthony Dodd, & Chris Maldonado) who eventually died. The guy who actually gave the greenlight for the flight actually committed suicide a week or 2 after the plane went down. Hype Williams' company, "Instinct," were trying to skip the weighing process of the plane to save money from booking another plane on the way to the Bahamas. Her uncle & CEO of Blackground Records had documents drawn up DAYS prior to her death that states he cant be held liable if someone dies or gets injured during the travels of the production of the music video. So there were shady things going on before the flight that took her life. Also, "Try Again" made history as the first song to go #1 based on radio spins alone. RIP Queen. You are loved💯

      True I Think he was part of the FAA who approved the flight and if I’m not mistaken he lied about approving the flight and then he later would recanted his statement and would later kill him self.

      Yeah I was hardly comprehensive during the time of her death cause I was like 3 turning 4 in exactly two months with my birthday on the 25th but caught on to her bout a year in some change later, and I literally witnessed the decline of the landscape of music it seems to me like music became depressing and lost feeling and it's been that way since music made its transition I'll say about 2005, her untimely demise had more of a impact on music then we probably ever even realized. She was the chosen one who wouldve had the whole industry in her back, like Beyonce in her prime, then 9/11 right after I can only imagine how rough a time that was for y'all who witnessed it first hand 🤧😩

      The problem is most ppl assume she wasn’t as famous because some of her most famous tracks didn‘t chart well compared to other artists. But what they don‘t know is, that these tracks weren’t released commercially in the US. If you look at the most watched music videos on MTV or BET during that time , Aaliyah has always been on top. And Try Again became a number one single solely on radio airplay. Let that sink in!

    I love Aaliyah RIP ❤😢 it’s sad every-time we go down this road..
    I did read that her heart was weak.. With her being so young I wonder if it was because of the sedative (which would have just been acute and no major damage), a chronic heart disease (cause?), or if she was even aware. Makes you wonder if she would have been another starlet succumbed to the industry’s dark side (sex drugs r&r). Gone to soon.. or did God take his baby from an evil path right on time. Girls from all walks can learn a lot from her story. ❤

      Yes it is sad everytime it is discussed that's why we need justice for Aaliyah. We all need answers. Like free Britney everyone needs to start asking questions. As they just want people to not do nothing but now there is the power of internet, power of social media. It is harder to silence people like it was before internet / smart phone era.

    I really hope justice is done for Aaliyah similar to free Britney.
    Aaliyah was murdered her death was a set up. Even Mary J Blidge said it was a spiritual murder.
    If she was alive she would of have so much star power. She knew too much and she refused to join the dark side.
    It's clear they had to eliminate her to make way for new artists and the darkside agenda.
    We don't even know did she actual pass away on the plane or did something happened to her before her boarding the plane. The official story never made sense even if the pilot was on drugs, that does not make sense that the pilot will fly the plane to kill himself on that plane too.
    It sounds crazy but it was Jay-Z handlers that got rid of her. The ones that really own Jay-Z. Jaguar Wright confirmed what everybody was thinking for years.
    The industry elites are powerful people and there is alot of motives. Hype Williams took the plane that Lenny Kravitz sent to Aaliyah? There is alot of people that had something to gain alot of motives but they all have the same boss which is the elites that was driving the dark side agenda in the music industry.

    I remember the day this happened. I was 21 years old, and I lived in Metairie, Louisiana. (Right outside of New Orleans) Me and my then boyfriend David talked about this for the longest time, just trying to make sense of it. And we were so sad in the days, weeks, and years after this. I loved her so much I wanted to have a girl one day and name her Aaliyah. Aaliyah had so much light in her and that was universally felt! She was everything!! She was beautiful, genuine, generous, kind, talented, creative, and so loved!! This will never sit right with me. The people around her knew better than to put her on that plane!! There’s no excuse for this at all. Why would they risk putting this once in a lifetime star on an overloaded plane like that? They treated her real cheap, this was nonsense that still hurts to this very day. Her parents and brother will never be the same. This destroyed a lot of people’s lives..it was so senseless. The only closure they can have is knowing one day they will be reunited with their precious Aaliyah. I know God is still carrying them through this and giving them peace that only He can give. It will be a glorious day when they see Aaliyah waiting for them at those pearly gates. And I hope this is a wake up call for all of us. To be more careful in life, because death is so permanent. And if something feels way off, it’s because it is off. And don’t let anyone persuade you to do something you feel is wrong. The people around Aaliyah didn’t feel right either. They should’ve said no we aren’t going anywhere! We will stay here until we have better more reliable transportation. Period.

  • @trentonhuntley9966
    @trentonhuntley9966 3 месяца назад +3

    There are so many errors with this and it could’ve been mitigated with extra research. The label Blackground was created for Aaliyah by her uncle because she couldn’t get a record deal. The labels didn’t believe in her talent. Her uncle managed R Kelly and that relationship was leveraged to get a distribution deal with Jive Records and later once the relationship soured, Atlantic Records. Then again, the label was moved again to Virgin Records around the time of her death. This is the same Virgin Records that was over-leveraged and wrapped up in the controversial deals with Janet Jackson and Mariah Carey. At that time of her death there was the Glitter Album and movie that premiered on September 11, 2001. There needn’t be additional background on that date. Mariah Carey then has a nervous breakdown, no doubt contributed to by the label happenings, Aaliyah’s demise, and the events of 9/11. To put it mildly, there were strange and terrible things happening around the couple that ran the label. With regard to the crash, a major contributing factor was the positioning of the passengers on the plane. There were three adult men that weighed over 200lbs with at least two of them seated in the rear of the plane. Aaliyah’s bodyguard was approximately 300 lbs. That mixed with the luggage shifted the center of gravity rearward. Thus, when the plane climbed, it stalled. It’s speculated that an instrument was potentially tampered with. Possibly one or more instruments. The investigators couldn’t tell if the crash caused the positioning of said instruments or if they were in that position prior to the crash. It can be surmised that if an instrument was tampered with that any action taken with said instrument to avoid or mitigate the crash/stall, could’ve accelerated it. With regards to the pilot not being on the authorization, it would be prudent to heed the father’s words about the pilot being given the assignment. It’s also prudent to consider the charter owner Gilber Chacon that no one has seen or heard from since. When he came back to clear out, he’s stated to have said the pilot knew how to fly that plane. It’s imperative to consider if someone stood to gain by tampering with the toxicology report of the pilot to provide a cause for the crash. It an instrument is tampered with, you’ve got a last minute set up with the pilot, and an unregistered flight for simplification, this points to conspiracy. Another key point is Aaliyah’s personal luggage went missing on the travel to the island. She didn’t have her personal effects beyond what was personally carried. She wore her video attire while not shooting. Look at her access granted shoot. So when it’s been peddled to the media that she was arguing all her things must go, what things? Why would that narrative be peddled to the media when they couldn’t find her things? Why would video equipment be on a Cessna? 👀

    That’s the thing, Aaliyahs busy schedule is what killed her. A lot of people looking at it as Aaliyah was drugged and murdered but those people she was around was like her family. This “pill” was given to her because she complained of a headache and I’m sure that’s why they offered it to her, people are really taking this situation wrong. I don’t think Aaliyah was sedated from medication and I don’t think she was carried on the plane. Those are just rumors. This story of her taking a pill to relax and being carried on the plane came out of nowhere YEARS later. Now I haven’t heard NOBODY in the last 20 years talk about her being medicated and carried on board until now. And even with that no one knows who was the source of that rumor. I go by what her bodyguard who initially survived the plane impact said to the EMT workers before he passed away. He said they all got on the plane and Aaliyah was sitting behind him. He said Aaliyah was pretty tired so when she got on the plane she settled in to relax. He said everything was fine until til they started ascending. He said the plane began to tilt to the left and the pilot tried to correct the plane by tilting to the right but unfortunately the engines stalled and failed and the plane began to nose dive until it impacted the ground. I was 17 years old when she passed away and I remembered seeing her promoting her new album on mtv and bet. My friend called me screaming saying to turn on the radio because they said Aaliyah just died in a plane crash and they playing her music. I was in shock because I literally watched her on BET that whole week and her telling AJ and Free from 106th and Park saying she was heading to Miami to shoot the video and then to the Bahamas to shoot more footage. It was a horrible tragedy.Also Scott (the bodyguard) wasn’t the only person that survived the impact. It was Scott and two others but they all died hours later,

      @@joyce_ribeiro03 exactly, and there was nothing on the autopsy report about her having any medications in her system. It amazes me at how many people believe these rumors.I mean this particular rumor about her being drugged and carried on board just grew legs and ran but NO ONE can tell you who made these claims and why they waited over 20 years to say something. I followed Aaliyah’s career ever since her first album and I was very proud of the woman she was turning into. What’s heartbreaking is the way her and her colleagues died. That’s not a pleasant way to leave this earth. One thing I prayed for is that her legacy not be tarnished by the manner she died or what happened to her when she was working with RKelly and it appears that conspiracy theories for the way she died and the RKelly thing started to overshadow her music and that’s the sad thing. She was more than those things.She was a great entertainer. I dont entertain the rumors anymore. Very well said! I agree. The conspiracy theories come from people that just can’t believe something like this can happen to someone like her. I believe her busy schedule from her being in such high demand and the plane being overweight and an engine failing is honestly what caused her and her friends death. Being that she was tired I can see her wanting to leave early and go home to get rest before she started the next leg of appearances and working

      The nephew of the woman that owned the Taxi service in the Bahamas had a RUclips channel where he posted about how he worked for his aunt and was a baggage handler. He was young at the time and there was no social media in 2001. He said that he was there with Aaliyah by the taxi cab and saw someone in her entourage give her a pill to take cause she had a massive headache . And that she did not want to board the plane. The video was taken down off RUclips a few years ago. But to answer your question the reason it took so long for that information to come out is because the boy Kingsley was really young I think he said he was 13 in 2001.

    • @christopherclark4006
      @christopherclark4006 Месяц назад

      @ I appreciate that. However, this is kind of the reason why I don’t really listen to the rumors and stuff.There are too many conflicting stories about what happened. I’m still going to believe what the bodyguard said. Although he passed away when he got to the hospital he was lucid and was very aware and matter of fact while talking to the EMT’s and he clearly said while they were boarding the plane Aaliyah was walking right behind him and when they took their seats Aaliyah sat in the seat directly behind him. There were no prescription drugs or alcohol in her system. I was a HUGE Aaliyah fan when I was a teen and I remember watching her on tv that whole month promoting her new album.The day she passed away I watched every media coverage especially the days after when her remains were sent back to nyc. I have come to understand that when Aaliyah died people tried to make sense of it because why would this happen to her of all people especially when she had so much promise. But Aaliyah and her crew was flesh and blood like the rest of us and sometimes terrible accidents happen to good people. Rumors and conspiracy theories ran rampant when we all found out about her death. I hope one day we will all start speaking about Aaliyah’s music again and talent then the rumors and theories. She was so much more than that. Appreciate your comment

    Aaliyah luggage was lost she only had one small bag on the plane home so Aaliyah luggage was not recovered and she was carried on the small plane unconscious.
    She refused to get on the small plane she went back to the car with severe headache
    someone from her entourage gave her a pill. When Aaliyah fell sleep her body guard
    Scott carried Aaliyah on the small plane unconscious. Aaliyah did not want to get on small plane! She had a fear of flying and this small plane did not look safe !

    Also, why would it have been imperative to shoot the video on a small island nation? Could it be potentially easier to cover up an aviation incident in this day in time, if it happened outside of the US and where diplomatic relations would warrant delays? Would it be potentially easier to offer bribes to the officials of a small island nation so heavily reliant on tourism, to make things go away. After all they had a mega star in a nefarious position and many were stated to have overheard an exchange where she’s metaphorically walked to her death. How many FAA agents and NTSB agents would’ve been involved in an incident on US soil. Also, is it interesting that a contributor and music video director who worked on this last project was also present with Lisa Left Eye Lopes for her penultimate trip to Honduras before her death. Lastly, why has it been stated that Lenny Kravitz offered his personal jet to Aaliyah and she was never given access to it. His mother is from the island and he was likely privy to the aviation conditions of that island nation and commercial transport to and from it. Yet the plane was allegedly taken by the music video director who has never answered for that incident. This same person is prominently connected to three individuals that are the seat of the music industry and allegedly organized crime. 🫣😬
