Holding the material with your left hand in the position it was in at the start is a good way to lose your fingers with the circular saw! People, please think before you start cutting!
I did a 20” version of this without the burning; just sanded and wood stained and varnish. Found 2 small copper lion’s head for the ends and looks very “Old World” style.
Thank you! :) I used turquoise plastic paint. I dilute the paint with water to a 50:50 ratio so i don't lose the woodgrain, that's why it appears so soft, if you want vivid colors you can always do a second coat before finish!

Great work
Very nice! Keep up the good work🙏🏻
Looks great but perhaps for safety to use tealight candle liners, can use acrylic paint to get the same effect
Wow 😮
Nice video thanks. What varnish or oil did you use please?
Thank you so much Daniel, I really appreciate it! I used a simple water based matt varnish for this!
What drill piece are you using to make the hole?
Hello there, thank you for your comment, I used a 41mm drill bit!
1½" forstner bit works perfect for standard tealight candles. I have a video of a few different styles I made
Nice job. Can i ask what type of white paint you used.
