    Holding the material with your left hand in the position it was in at the start is a good way to lose your fingers with the circular saw! People, please think before you start cutting!

    I did a 20” version of this without the burning; just sanded and wood stained and varnish. Found 2 small copper lion’s head for the ends and looks very “Old World” style.

    Looks great but perhaps for safety to use tealight candle liners, can use acrylic paint to get the same effect

      1½" forstner bit works perfect for standard tealight candles. I have a video of a few different styles I made

      Thank you! :) I used turquoise plastic paint. I dilute the paint with water to a 50:50 ratio so i don't lose the woodgrain, that's why it appears so soft, if you want vivid colors you can always do a second coat before finish!
