Mojola Agbebi ‘Identity Matters’ - Black History Month: Inspiring stories from Black Baptist figures

In October 2020 for Black History Month, Gale Richards decided to produce some short videos based on a booklet called ‘Text and Story - Prophets for Their Time and Ours’ that she had written back in 2014. She felt it was timely to bring these stories alive and share them online.
Mojola Agbebi, Nannie Helen Burroughs, and Sam Sharpe are largely unknown Black Baptist figures. Yet, their life stories are inspiring, and contain messages which are still relevant and important today. They all have a connection to Britain, and have all had an influence on British life.
