The car accident wasn't the reason he got it. He got it from chewing it off as a coping mechanism along with chewing on his fingers.

I couldn’t ignore the fact- u said for the thoughts “why does Toby have axes” or something like that- he uses hatchets, i like to think of them as hand axes, but yeah :^ idk how ik this just there is a difference, hatchets are smaller abit and the head of it is slightly different then a axe, most people don’t know the difference so they can sometimes draw hatchets when meaning to draw axes and axes when trying to draw hatchets-
