- This is a dream come true for me because my favorite show ever since I was 12 is Avatar the Last Airbender and going to these monasteries made me feel like I was spending time at the Air Temples which were inspired by Tibetan culture.
I went to Thiskey and Hemis Monastery. And some other ones but these two were my favorite out of the ones I visited.

You should do a road trip to Hanle (Its also in Leh Ladakh)..Believe me you're gonna love ittt..The landscapes are just surreal😍😍Out of the world..

The movie 3 idiots was shot in Ladakh. Many asked if the sceneries were real, but it is one hundred percent.

You should go! It gets cold at night but during the day the sun is super hot! So it’s not bad

How did you travel around and all? Through a tour?
I booked through the homestay I was at! For the monasteries I just paid a cab driver for the day and he took me around to a couple of them.
