@Alphasys hi there... not mine this time!
This series isn't actually part of @bibledex and has been done by the theology team with the university's own video people.
    Cheers, Brady

@NottmUniversity May have been some oddity during conversion, but now it's become a little more quiet around here aswell, and I can hear the people. Still need to have all volume controls maxed for my unpowered headset, connected directly to the soundcard. Measuring the dB level, it barely comes above -12 and sampling peaks are only at about 1/3 of the max. Definitely could have used more umpf, but at least I could follow the talk now.

The Orthodox do not worship Saints. Veneration took place even in the Old Testament. Prophets and other Holy individuals and sacred places were commemorated. What we venerate is Jesus Christ evident in the life of a person. Is there no Christian that you quote or respect? No hero's of our faith that you would honor?

There definitely is a Biblical basis for Christ's descent into hell. Let's take a look at Matthew 12:40:
"Just as Jonah was in the belly of the whale three days and three nights, so will the Son of Man be in the heart of the earth three days and three nights."
Both comparisons being clearly allegorical, it's clear what the "heart of the earth" is meant to represent here. After all, Christ always explained everything in parables.

You might need to adjust your monitor, they looked pretty yellow to me. On a serious note, I suggest you look at the variety of ethnicities Mary has been depicted as around the world rather than regurgitating an inaccurate complaint.
