I love Johnny but his music isn't really goth since it doesn't has the elements that come from Post-punk, Goth rock, death rock, Darkwave, etc...I mean, he is really cool and talented but it confuses me to see he labels himself as goth. Looking dark or alternative doesn't equals being goth, since goth is a music based subculture the same as Metalhead, Rivethead, Punk, etc... are. (Sorry about weird grammar, english is not my first language). Note: I'm not hating, just trying to put some light on issues regarding goth subculture being confused as a fashion thing or a mindset about appreciating the dark stuff in life.
