I am new and watched the video several times. I loved his detailed explanations and how he went through the various steps. He marked the points where you should get in and get out to take profits. My question is if the price is continually going down, how are you making a profit at the get out points?

The follow through is easy to explain. Bulls have sold off chances are there's weak bulls in a bearish market being swept out and there's some bulls trapped that begin to cover which continues the follow through.

@ 4:15 when Oliver speaks about 'follow through rate' .. his point is very important.
I lost a bunch of money going against the MA for a long time, always guessing reversals... BIG MISTAKE. Actually... amazingly... you will find that on ANY MA, a bar in the opposite direction will get corrected back in the direction, except for the last bar on top or last bar on bottom. Doesnt matter if it's the 3ma or the 500ma. Good advice.
