I’ve tried to build with terracotta from a orange one and it wouldn’t let change to other colors like it let yu? I even had other color dyes help?
It's a long while ago, so I'm not 100% sure, but I was probably using the universal dyeing from vanilla tweaks: vanillatweaks.net/picker/crafting-tweaks/
Otherwise you can only use the basic non-dyed terracotta. Hope this helps! :)
