It’s a car company. Sure, it’s a really really good car company. But a car company all the same. And eventually over time, the stock price will reflect that.

This is where not have dealers will hurt - dealers sort of hide the discounts to move inventory. For Tesla, it’s all out in the open.

The new 2023 Model Y AWD long range with 20” induction wheels with tow hitch inventory car I bought in January of this year is $3700k more expensive. But they do still have a couple of new 2023 Model Y AWD long range with no options for $44,990. But that is still the prices of earlier this year. I see no inventory cars selling for less in Southern California. No slashing of prices here. New 2024 Model Y vehicles are still 1K higher price as of April 1st.
Tesla needs to understand people are understanding time is the most valuable thing we have on this plant.
Time is priceless and watching your life disappear while waiting 30-45 minutes to charge a car is senseless.
Time is money!
Tesla also needs to understand the Chinese company Nīo has developed a solid state battery that quick charges in 15 minutes and travels over 500 miles on a single charge.
If Nīo could sell it's cars here in America Tesla would flop and go under immediately without any federal government intervention.
Elon Musk must create a EV with double the range and greatly reduce the battery charging times.
I drive Tesla full time for Uber and quick charge 3 times a day at $12-$15 Dollars per charging session, while watching my entire life disappear waiting to get back on the road and earn more money.
Tesla is DEFINITELY the most impractical auto mobile a person can purchase.
Oh and I forgot to mention over the Air updates from Tesla will allow Tesla to program your car into limp home mode, meaning the cats rage will NEVER be more than 35 miles.
This will usually happen when the battery has experienced more than 10% battery degradation.
Buyer beware and do your research before you commit to a Tesla.
It's definitely not all they make it out to be.
Seeing more and more on the road now. Wish I could afford one for my work commute. Would be nice not having to watch my gas gauge or wait in line for gas at Costco. And the environmental benefits too I guess.
