Lada, I love yoir videos they're so complete and relatable. You described my religious upbringing and my quest for spirituality perfectly. I too grew up in a fire and brimstone home but from a very young age I was interested in the esoteric and was shamed and spiritually threatened with hell because of it. As I grew I have fought my "fear" of God and embraced my intuition and have tried to learn everything I can about astrology and other mystical arts that seem to come naturally to me. I have this conjunction but my upbringing was a mix of rudeness, vulgarity, humiliation and intimidation rather than strict. It also explains why I stopped believing and subscribing to mainstream organized religion. Don't care for it

I, too, have this Jupiter-Saturn conjunction (3 degrees apart) in Libra in House3 & my upbringing was wrought with exactly the same. It was a tough year/conjunction to have been born under. I can honestly say that it caused very many long, deep depressions for the majority of my life...esp from age 7 thru mid 20's 😞😠😠

I was born on 26th February 1981. I have exact conjunction of Saturn and Jupiter at the top of the 7th house, on 8th degree of Libra.
This conjunction is dominant in my natal chart, because it is on the corner and is the dispositor of my personal planets Sun 0 Mars in Pisces and Mercury 0 Venus in Aquarius, all in the 12th house. This conjunction is not easy, and gives a lot of difficulties in partnerships. I'm not married yet, but I'm in a business partnership with my brother, who is 7 years older than me.
Whether it is a marriage or a business partnership, this position almost always gives partners with whom we have a square between Saturns in synastry.
Through this aspect we learn this important lesson about partnerships, such as compromises, responsibility ...
Because of this aspect most of my generation with this aspect are still not married.
The house ruled by Jupiter will be blocked and slowed down by Saturn.
In my case, Jupiter is the ruler of the 9th house, which represents college education,
so I enrolled in the Academy of Fine Art after the 4th time (both Saturn and Jupiter are retrograde). The point is, with this aspect, nothing comes quickly overnight, it all takes a lot of effort and work. On the health side, because of this aspect, I got a kidney stone.
This conjunction in Libra in the 7th house gives sensitive kidneys, all who have this conjunction please pay attention to your kidneys!

Great explanation of this conjunction Lada :) Paris Hilton has Saturn conjunct Jupiter (born in 1981 also) in her 10th house. Her status as a public figure has gone up & down. Her expanded--(Jupiter) status as a famous socialite which she turned into a profitable & abundant career & in time she was arrested for drunk driving when she was restricted by the law (Saturn) & went to jail. I think at age 34 she has finally found the balance with her conjunction.

Jupiter is influenced by other planets, so when it influences saturn, it will also be affected by the planets that influence jupiter. Mars, moon and jupiter are in fire signs. Mars is in good position and mars is important friend for saturn. My mars doesn't have a bad aspect to saturn, so it cannot affect me badly. I believe that Jupiter can now fight the negativity of saturn, and it will become more positive. Jupiter is a wise fighter. I also think I can use the pessimism for something positive.

I have this aspect as part of a four planet Stellum in Virgo. Sun 13, Jupiter 19, Mercury 22 and Saturn 28. I also have Juno at 19 VIrgo. I have a Capricorn Ascendent. The video fits me exactly.
I've had a history with depression, my coping skills have gotten better over time. I've struggled finding a religion that supports my own view of God. My depression was moderately disabling in my twenties. My bachelors degree took 7 years as a full time student to complete. I am 34... And still don't exactly know what I want to do 'when I grow up'. I wasn't able to physically and emotionally handle a full 40 hour work week until I was 32. I'm thankful that even on my rough days that I am at least able to work my job and am a dedicated employee with hopes of becoming a business owner.
Much of my journey through life has been a struggle but usually I am able to keep a slow but steady pace achieving my goals. I expect way more out of myself than I do anyone else. I feel that the heavy Saturn influence actually has kept me out of a lot of trouble. I know that 'moderation' isn't possible with my genetics. If I drink, use drugs,over spend or relationship hop that I will suffer a horrible outcome like members of my family. I acknowledge my extremely high potential for addiction and avoid putting myself in risky situations.
I have a Piscean Saturn squaring my Sagittarius Jupiter, Mars and Venus. Can definitely resonate with growing up in a strict religious/moralistic family. I had to break off from religion/spirituality to find my own way, and my own truth.

Lada, thanks for this video - you certainly did a great analysis of the effects of this aspect. I have Saturn and Jupiter conj on my MC (Oct, 9th 1980) and I feel the constant ebbs and flows of optimism in my career and professional life - doubting my qualities and my chosen career path all the time. I changed several jobs when I came to a point where I didn't feel I was contributing to society meaningfully. This conj + a lot of air in my chart make it very hard for me to get or to let myself be truly excited. The internal nagging criticism and inability to live up to your own standards are a recipe for many depressive bouts.

1981 here too. I felt like i am listening to myself. Since you like vedic, have you researched the transformation in the mid thirties via d-9 chart. This i think will probably help you out to figure out how the jup-sat conjunction expresses itself in later life .In the vedic school it is considered good in a 2-3 signs and can be v difficult for others, Lastly Jesus was born supposedly during this conjunction and hence it is called as the great conjunction (jupiter covers saturn) and this was in pisces where it is considered best. I am a novice so i am not trying to teach anything:) just came across this info on some other channel.

It’s funny, every time you talk about your chart it freaks me out. We have so many things a like and I was born in 67! But if you look at my chart I have a ton of fire. And I am nothing like what you would think. Saturn is on my AC and Jupiter trines it in Cancer.
