My all-time favorite Crowded House song! At one point I had collected 82 different live versions of it on one long playlist. The best ones were always with Paul on drums. ❤
So miss Paul he was the chemistry in the band saw their tour for time on earth wasn’t the same I’d always picture Paul sat at drums was a crowdie not so much now which is sad 😔
Another gem moment-in-time Peter -- it always strikes me that (maybe counter to much of his character) Paul took his drumming very seriously -- it was certainly an integral part of the music they made (and his harmonies weren't bad either :) ❤
it was bit of media launch. We worked with EMI -both to launch Tim in the band and the Choc Cake single. So if you were on media invite list you might have been at this one..or friends -we invited a lot of mates of the band.
@@petergreen2534 maybe not then, the gig I went to was in Greville st Prahran upstairs ( I can’t remember the name of the place) and Eddie Rayner joined on keyboards half way through the gig.

he did a rather amazing drummer, so very unique in so very many ways, it was one of those things that made CH extra special. We miss him a lot.

The venue was I think The Continental?
