Morning Dude Dude, these beast are loud, plus the nozzle is too, Glad to have sold my pump 20 years ago, I haven't missed that beast yet. Live long and plaster teaching plastering video’s
Hey Kirk love your videos I started Plastering in 1975 and I love the trade coming home and respecting a good day's work I'm 66 now and I still love the trade thank you
Good job Kirk! For those that comment about being clean, well sometimes it isn't how dirty you are that speaks for hard work, it's just how smart you work. Lots of people expect the "bossman" to show up and be presentable too, no matter what kind of work you do. Your personal presentation speaks volumes about your work Kirk! I like to weld and do farm work in a nice white shirt too! Nice and coooooool!
Howdy Gee Dubb, my shirts are from the thrift shop at a cost of a few bucks, but they are cool in the summer and keep the cement off to, cheers, kirk giordano plastering
That crew works the pump well. We don't use a pump all that often but when we do its really nice...definitely speeds things up. I just can't believe you didn't have any of those metal vent's covered! My boss would shit if he came out and saw us pumping without having things like that completely poly'd and covered! Always great videos Kirk!
Evening Spencer Kelly, I agree this was a goof, but at the same time it was left as clean as when we started. Good eye, Best wishes, Kirk & Jason Giordano's DIY plastering network
It's cool seeing a pump in action. At the company I stucco for we have a pump, but no one wants to use it so it just sits in the yard being a big waste of money.
Morning Jimalcoatl, these pumps are a real drag unless you have at least 7 competent men running them, that's why I sold mine many years ago. Cheers, Kirk Giordano
Does that stucco pump company strictly pump stucco for stucco contractors? Or is it a separate company from yours that your partnering up with on this particular job? Also, Are there companies that strictly pump stucco for stucco contractors and don't contract jobs? I own and operate a small Concrete pumping company up here in Sac. I know all about drag line pumping its a kick in the ass! I been self employed in this pumping biz since 2005 and still going. I'm not looking to break into other areas of pumping I was just curious. I saw you comment about how you sold your pump. I know handfuls of Concrete companies that tried to own their own concrete pumps and quickly realized how difficult is to do and then sell em off. I figure its the same in stucco. When I'm not pumping I'm a full time welder/fabricator/mechanic on my equipment otherwise I don't make ANY $$$$$ it makes me one tired dude at the end of the day. Livin the fuckin dream eh? Lol.
Howdy rcp “rcp916” pop, these pumps are a lot of work, this one I was using belonged to James irving, I was renting for a day, as I sold mine, and don't miss it, as your right they are lots of work, but fun at the same time. Cheers, kirk giordano plastering
hope you had your ear plugs . you ever measure the decibel level of one of those pumps gotta be louder than hells bells

I'm gonna post of real stucco work, my crew sprays about 5000sf a day and the floated stucco looks 10 times better then that

Stucco pumps
how much do the biggest stucco pumps cost?
Hi Chuck, I paid 35,000 for one about 16 years ago, I guess cost could vary from possible 10 to 100,000 thousand.
