Just some advice, almost all land in Texas is privately owned. You can NOT just pull off the road and set up a tent. Be careful people in Texas take private property seriously. Then again people are very nice so if you ask permission they’ll probably say yes!

It's only a deadly road if you don't know how to ride. It's actually very scenic and relaxing.

Probably a Porcupine. I live in Leakey off of 337 between Leakey and Camp Wood. Old Reagan Wells road. Its beautiful here. But it's true, you should never pull on to someone's property here without asking because it could become a problem for you. Your best bet is to make reservations or go to Garner state park to camp.
I enjoyed this video, God bless you.

I live in kansas. I visited 2 of my brothers in San Antonio by riding my 1500 Goldwing there.
We just had to ride the twisted route. I rode his 1500cc and he rode mine. . I now own a 1800cc Goldwing and would love to ride it again. 😎👍

I wouldn't say the deadliest. I would probably leave that for 635 LBJ. But it's not a road for someone just starting out riding or has a fear of heights, you need to know how to handle your bike. Push too hard and The Sisters will bite you. I've riding from Kerrville to Leakey at night my only concern was someone not paying attention coming the other way and the Wildlife. There're all kinds of Varmits in them Hills at night and they just want to say Hi, so they wait till they see you then run out in front of you. Be safe out there

The most dangerous thing about this ride is rocks in the corners, unless you ride like an idiot.

Crosswinds in hill country are unpredictable, topping a curve on Ducati M900, got blown over centerline, luck no oncoming traffic

Go to Tail of the Dragon in Tenn. FYI - Tail of Dragon beats 3 Twisted sisters! 318 curves in 11-mile stretch. it's a highway - open to any vehicle until several years ago - trucks were banned to use this road Highway 29. Roads are very twisty!
