thinking up a story about a group of ducks that are as intelligent as humans, and then the main duck is overheard speaking english and the guy who overhears him sets out on a mission to capture the ducks and take them to his science lab. so all the ducks have to go on the run to avoid becoming science experiments and avoid being discovered by the public. an epic cross-country chase full of chaos, love, and war ensues
it would be called “Duck, Duck, Bruce” bc it sounds like duck duck goose and the science lab guy’s name is Bruce. there would also be a sequel called “Duck, Duck, Truce” where the ducks make peace (after annihilating Bruce) and are accepted by humans at large and learn how to integrate themselves into society and work and live amongst humans. the main duck becomes an animal rights activist lawyer

@@chukpic haha ok so true! except the ducks are trying to avoid becoming experiments, not food. i actually rewatched chicken run a couple months ago so i’m not surprised that my brain wandered in that direction haha
Well according to Christianity all creatures could initially speak the "common tongue", the reason they don't is attributable to Adam & Eve's punishment. I'm not even Christian but half the time when I talk to my pets, I'm sure they know exactly what I'm saying lmao.
