MORE BOLT ACTION! It genuinely warms my heart. Thank you for the back to back 2 hours of pleasant viewing! Please keep them coming as quick as you like. It's fun for the whole family! o7
1:03:12 You're talking about the Battle of Raseiniai, where a lone KV delayed the 6th Panzer Division. It took 7-8 hits from 50mm AT, two penetrating armour. Pioneers attempted to destroy the KV's tracks with satchel charges and failed. It was finally eliminated by Pioneers who managed to toss grenades inside and kill the crew. The Germans buried the crew with honours, and they were later exhumed in the late 60s by the Soviets who reburied them in a military cemetery. Their names are lost to history, sadly.
According to Osprey vanguard 24 ( soviet heavy tanks ) page 8 and 10, it was a single KV-2. Vanguard 28 ( 6th panzer division doesn't specify the type.
I know almost nothing about this game, but i have just discovered you can field Dads Army. As an englishman of refined tastes, im sure you will agree they need to be seen on this very channel. :) That table is a joy. Amazing scenery. An hour ago i didnt know much about the game. Now i want to play it. Need to find out if anyone local Bolt actions.
5:37 You gotta Take one with you! 37:53 Jeeeeezzzzeeezzz you are such a Lucker! 1:05:45 THIS IS REDICULUS! 1:20:23 TRULY EPIC! So glad he got the 5!!! This is where I continue WATCHING... 1:42:00
we played a game similar this back in the 70s when I was a kid a friend of a friend had it all written out how many inches did certain tank could move what armor protection each part of the tank had, and you would roll dice to see if you hit how much damage was done we would use the models that we had made both ground and air. We would each pick a country, and then declare war on each other and then who we could get to Ally with us. I believe it was 148 scale men, and whatever scale armor you had an aircraft.
Awesome report guys! Really liked the touch of the CoH2/HoI4 music :) Poor James and his 1 pin pain tests! I've been there dude, after 1 fail I just default to staying down to lose the D3 automatically out of rage XD
2:10:55 when you shot at the flakveirling, then realised it was down and reviewed the footage to see you only got two hits that was actually incorrect. One of those sixes was from the back group of rifles which were at long range and would have needed sixes followed by sixes to hit. Meaning the flakverling probably would have survived until turn 8. It certainly would have died on turn 8 anyway, but I still hate to see Commando James done dirty like that
Fluffing the 'brave' conscripts with the Japanese dice as Yang Kyoungjong and his mates. Awesome battle report, would love to see more bolt action in the future!
I just got into your bolt actions videos recently, and by coincidence starting watching your betrep from january at Commando James' battlebunker - and I must say, I'm astonished by his terrain and models. Absolutely beautiful! PS: Damn son, no wonder the germans lost the war, if the soviets kept on rolling sixes like that 😂
That was an exciting battle report, and a really cool scenario, although I feel like these "get your units across the board" scenarios are always heavily weighted in the defenders favour, even with the attacker having 25% more points. Also the music was a bit loud at points; making it hard to hear the talking. Still, good video and I'm always happy to see more quality bolt action content.
Thanks for the feedback! I’ll be sure to turn it down the track where the music is located from the future batreps, always looking to improve the quality and to create amazing content in the Mordian Glory channel! 🫡
I really enjoying ur German and soviet lists and watched few more of videos and really enjoy them. I would love to vs u guys in a game if come out to Australia and vs guys in a game. your table looks great
When the halftrack was destroyed, they should’ve taken a pin for getting a hit and a pin for each damage result. So they really should’ve gotten three pins 😂😂
Great game, really enjoyable. Hate to be that guy but there's a couple rules I think you might have been mistaken on. you might have done it off-camera but ambush orders need a 4+ to carry on over to the next turn. Also I'm not too sure about firing HE at units on the roofs of buildings, because they're not actually in the building I think it's just hardcover without the plus one to the save. Nothing for the shrapnel to bounce off. It's how we play it anyway, so buildings aren't complete death traps.
You only need to roll for the ambush if you want to fire it at the end of turn. It carries on automatically. The roof thing depends on how you wants to play it. That said, normally and in most games it will just be played as a 2ed floor, at it just makes the game flow better rule wise.
@@xxStenetxx Yeah, my bad. Thanks for the clarification. I get the rules mixed way too much to be posting comments on batreps. If anything it helps me with the rules... (I've been playing since the start of second Ed, really should know them better!)
@@dannyhalas9408 Haha Yeah the rule book is not to clear nor easy to navigate, I have been playing since 1ed and I still fine rules I have missed or forgotten xD
Nice table and nice report! This is a nitpick: you have a nicely-painted KV model on a beautiful table, and then you put a big ugly plastic die on top of the turret. It would be way less invasive to set it beside or behind the tank.

I am so damn jealous of his Bolt Action boards and terrain
For "FIRE" russians say "Огонь " [Ogonj]
Or ... [Agonj]

German mountain troops are called 'Gebirgsjäger' -> lit. 'mountain range hunters'
love the board, just a question does the cow provide cover ?

Soviets fought Japan in the 1930s including 1939.

Company of heroes 2 soundtrack is so fitting for bolt action

Have you ever considers looking at konflikt 47, aka bolt action with wunderwaffes on all sides
Wunderwaffen* would be the multiple of wunderwaffe
Oh man, Mordian plays Konflikt? I'd watch that for sure.

Loving the Bolt Action battle reports!
Your opponent has baller kicks btw
As someone who loves both 40k and BA Im loving the content. Keep up the good work man.
100% Play this scenario US vs Japanese!
You got the tank into the building right I do believe!

The tea lights in the smoke *chefs kiss*
Splendid stuff!
Rooting against Mordian 😂 Gott mit Uns!
Very cool game and beautiful table. KV1 is cool, but I was always in love with the KV2. It is so excessive, I have to have in every WWII game.
Love it thanks mate!
Glad you enjoyed it! :)
gotta love the coh2 music. when i started watching this video i honestly thought my coh2 game launched again@@DeathKorpsOfWrath

Buzzing of the Bolt Action battle reports, feed me more 😃
That Coh 2 music fits well

I love the board. Fantastic
If its on a wheeled carriage or shooting tanks with it's an anti tank gun. If it's in a tank it's a tank gun.

I think they said at the beginning of the game the mg team was in the building, they just stuck them on the roof to show where they were

Please, less music! Love the reports but the music is really annoying I’m afraid
I’ll be sure to use less music for the future batreps! Thank you for addressing the issue 🫡
Aaaah, that good old COH2 Soundtrack in the background... good old times :D
