I was very young when my family moved to the U.S. from India, so I didn't retain much from my culture. Being so young, I very quickly assimilated to American culture. Looking at this performance just BLEW ME AWAY and really makes to long to learn about my homeland. GREAT PERFORMANCE LADIES!!!! If I had been there in person, I would have lost my voice from screaming at the top of my lungs cheering for you!!! This performance was absolutely mesmerizing!!!
WOW! Two years after my previous comment and this video is still up and yet no one has commented after I did. I don't get it. I keep coming back to this video because I so love it. These young ladies do such a wonderful job at such a beautiful dance and i can't stop watching it. If someone ever takes it down, I'll be completely heart broken. Ok, I admit. I'm totally crushing on one of the young ladies here and I have been for a number of years. At 44 seconds into the video, she is the young lady to the far left back in the back. Why do I feel about her the way James Blunt felt about the angel on the subway? Yes, she's beautiful.All of the young ladies in this video are breathtaking and they do such a wonderful job with this dance but, I'm just so in love with that young lady in the back over there on the left at :44.Wherever she is and whatever life she leads, I hope she's very happy. I hope she has a good husband who loves her very much and takes good care of her. I say that because that's what I would do if I had ever had a chance to meet her in my younger days. .

I really enjoy when a different culture/nation/country celebrates another one. I constantly see the negativity in the US where they claim complete ownership to ones culture and call anyone who's attempting to respect, love, cherish and acknowledge them as racists and culture appropriation. It's very narrow minded and just builds walls, the very same they don't want to be build lol. Anyways, lovely dancers, amazing talent and so grateful this exists. Keep it up 👏🏼💖

Brilliant Performance! It is extremely difficult for a non-Indian dancer to duplicate the cultural nuances through a dance that occur more naturally to an Indian dancer, however you women have nailed it. Not a single false note in the entire performance.
What does it mean for non-Indian dancers? The dance has no origin, face, hair color. Why are the Indians necessarily better? absolutely not. Count the bravustrepitose. the study, the physical qualities. The Russians are very good at dancing, and they are amazing :)

Though also some interested ones learn the Russian ball dance, just notice the name RUSSIAN. And it is only about INTEREST and CHOICE. It can be food, clothes etc. Bollywood is mix of all dances but traditionally every state of India has its unique set of dance, dance costumes,food, clothes, lifestyle.

From the day it has come out, I've been watching it daily in the morning after waking up and at night before going to sleep. :D Especially the part between 1.50 - 3.55. It feels like I am visualizing the music on the computer. Each beat and tune has been used in the choreography, and each movement looks completely right for the kind of sound that's playing. I congratulate the choreographer Miss Vera for such outstanding creativity. Thanks for creating these awesome experiences. :)
Have watched nagina, Chal Chaiya and Tarana dance of Mayuri griup for more than fifty times.. and every time i get awed. So i had to write this.. though i never write reviews. These females have electrcity in body with a grace which beats Indian grace as well. its not true that Indian dancer can dance or choregraph better than this..especially Nagina dance..where the starting is like.. oooohhhh. The dresses are so gloosy with such flares... and so Indian... My geneuine Pranam to these ladies... Offlate thguuh i cannot see that grace in lead dancers of Mayuri group.

All of those dances including this one are my favorite but, it aches my heart to see when 1 or 2 of these girls get flowers and they other did not received, it's very very unfair and sad when they have had dance so beautiful too, i'm so sad in my heart.
