- Zach LaVine finished last season with career numbers across the board: 23.7 points per game (good for top 15 in the league when you consider ties. Kyrie Irving and Donovan Mitchell finished just above him at 23.8 points per game, Russell Westbrook came in at 22.9 and Klay Thompson with 21.5), while also posting the best rebounds, assists, steals, and blocks (yet NOT turnovers) numbers in his time in the league. The two time dunk champ finished shooting 46.7% from the field, while getting to the foul line a career best 6.2 times per game (while shooting 83.2%).
The point? Simply that Zach is a scorer. He’s sublime when he rips baseline. He’s gaining consistency and expanding his range. His jumper is good enough that if you give him space, whether from 3 or the midrange, he’ll punish you for going under. He’s creative off the bounce, and he’s got SO MUCH bounce that he’s soaring and scoring if you give him a half step. The Bulls have tried to place him at the focal point of the offense, as a primary creator (albeit under two different Head Coaches), but that might not be the role best suited for him. With Lauri Markkanen, Wendell Carter Jr, Otto Porter, Coby White, and most of the rest of the roster, the Bulls have plenty of pieces that can learn and grow together and figure out where they fit alongside one another. The future finally looks a little bright in the Windy City.

Freddy Calipari lavine went to ucla and I think 3 of his teammates got drafted that year. I’ll say he was slept on because of how he was utilized in college
Zach's ability to score on all 3 levels is impressive! His teammate Kris Dunn has the same ability but his efficiency isn't there. If Kris would only make those layups, and 3 ptrs he'd avg 23 ppg too. #Bulls

WILLIAM GREY I hear the playoff thing but what.... at 8th place and barely at that. With a weakened Eastern conference there was only 3 teams to watch for and they barely made it 8th place or wherever they were. I’m all reality it was a Cinderella season for the Nets and barely at that 💯
