Nice run down! As a line dancer, I’m always looking for places to go as it instead big here as other places. I love Neon Boots but looks like I have a few more places to try. I do teach and will share with my students :)
These are all nightclubs or bars from what I can tell. Was searching for old style country dance halls that are family friendly where you can take kids as well.
I'm not sure about those sort of traditional dance halls in the Houston area, maybe the old school ones that are more rural would be a good bet, like Luckenbach or Gruene hall
Just to get Facts correct ..... these are not Real Texas Dance Halls .... they are Nite Clubs that try to use the Dance Hall moniker to sound more country .... Neon Boots is fairly New. It's in the same location as the old Esquire Ballroom was .
They’re nightclubs not dancehalls. Nowhere close to being dancehalls. Rowdy‘s, Mo’s Place has live entertainment. Neon Boots occasionally has live entertainment. The others don’t.. You sincerely need to know the true history of real Texas Dancehalls. And get your facts straight.

We love all of the country music bars.

I thought Texans were respectful. 🫡 Maybe there was a kinder way to communicate this message to someone who’s doing their best to assimilate. 🫤
Line dancing is so out of date not to mention disrespectful to other dancers
