I haven't seen Jack Fisk since he appeared in the old Lynch doc Pretty As A Picture. He looks great! What a legend, worked on Badlands and Eraserhead and still working with the greats of today!
So much seemed to have gone into this, yet I still haven't watched it or want to watch it. I think the fact that I didn't quite like or really understand Dune and its significance will never make me appreciate Timothée Chalamet movies. People clearly love this dude. I'll watch it again and hopefully it hits.
He claims self defense, but he felt so bad about defending himself that he ran away from the scene, hiding for several hours, and contemplated su*cide because he defended himself? This guy had such a long time to come up with a story, and this is it?
When you look up behind the scenes, making of, movies from the 90s even the early to mid 2000s, it was a parent who the crew were and who the cast are. You could tell by they’re close. Now you look at behind the scenes on a movie or TV show and everyone looks the same. Because everyone’s trying to be the main character or star. That’s not a good thing. I don’t know what that’s called the main character syndrome? But I just think to myself you’re not that guy. Whether it’s a girl or not. It’s like too much confidence or something. It’s like when the PA is running around wearing designer clothes and you’re like are you in the picture or… ?
incredible film. deserved an oscar. already cult classic tho
You guys got Robbed. You deserved at least 1 Oscar (Best Actor or Editing) 😢
lol no
Their utterly obnoxious/ exhausting marketing campaign soured most of the populous on this film. It was a very odd choice.
Put it back in cinemas 😊
Favorite movie in years. Just excellent all around
Marty Supreme 2 confirmed!
Jack Fisk and Miyako Bellizzi have inspired me so much. I honestly hope I can become either a production or costumer designer because of them

This movie has so much more to offer than TC.

10 out of 10 Oscar losses. May this experience humble Timothée Chalamet and whoever does not help him not keep his ego in check.
im so used to costume designers being older woman. she's so stylish. almost seems like a cool instagram it girl
Seriously though does Timmy think ping pong is more popular than ballet or opera?
It is
I've never been to a Ballet or Opera because to me its just a waste of time, i would rather watch movies
Ive seen more ping pong movies than i have opera or ballet shows 😂
@kishenchohan1286 How do you know they are a waste of time if you've never been
He thinks that movies are more popular than opera and ballet, which is true I guess. He never said anything about Ping Pong.
Shite film from a shite person
This movie is dogshit
You didn’t buy the Oscar enough
this movie is trash
