      It's trigonometry. Part of Pre- Calculus.

      Truly, this Q & A is basically part of either Discipline: Geometry and Trigonometry! Both of which are imperative to develop a knowledge of The Calculus; basic building blocks of the most wonderful 'discovery,' made simultaneously by (Sir) Isaac Newton and Gottfried W. Leibniz...

    Professor, how we do we know that we should do (360-theta) but not (270+theta) because the 4th quadrant supports both (270+theta) and (360-theta)… Should we check with calculator or is there a logic behind it? It would be very helpful! 😊😊😊

      @btsmochimi7924 Год назад

      If you do 270+theta, the terminal side would not reach at the 4th quadrant...you have to subract 360 so that it would satisfy the intervals of theta.

    Wait, what mean the .43? And Why the cos^-1?

    • @Firefly256
      @Firefly256 Год назад +2

      .43 means 0.43, and cos^-1 means the inverse of cosine, aka arccos

    • @alec734
      @alec734 Год назад +3

      Cos is the X axis, so, cos (0) = 1, and as you move around, the x value changes, in this case that x value is 0.43

      Firstly, do you even understand the basics of trigonometry?

  • @Ray-qb7tk

    Couldn't you interpolate values of cosine less than 1,or use series? We wouldn't have to use calculators😮.

      Calculators save time, knowing what the video is teaching is what's important. On the real world calculators do the operations, you focus on the thinking and the reasoning
