Just saw this on rage and me and my brother couldn't believe this had been out for 2 years and we literally heard it the first time tonight. Really made us stop and listen which doesn't happen very often anymore. This is amazing, love the style too, honestly can't believe this hasn't got more airplay on triple j at least.
The snake video game sequence around 1:15 appears to have been created on a Commodore 64. The dollar sign character is identical to the C64's font. Cool!
Amazing song and video! I’m spellbound. Ended up listening to it a dozen times today (so far, excluding watching the video), often many times in a row. Also listened to the whole album, and I think the rest of it is really good as well. Peter Garrett’s involvement made me discover this song (and album), and while I find his performance absolutely incredible, this song and video is of course so much more than just him. I love all of it!
Seen them in Adelaide with my 2 yalbrus ( lore brothers, initiated at the same time in tribal lore ) Micheal Woodley and Kevin Guinness and my sister Lorraine Coppin they too deadly these mob
