A couple of friends and I were talking about this dino today. I think it would be fine for pve if the titansaur could be tamed permanently since it provides excellence defense and would be great for a permanent, mobile base.
@@kaicai1000 I'm not at my computer but it's under the settings for the server before you actually get into the maps I believe it's right under the taming speed and enable flyers setting it should be labeled as raid tame time limit or raid tame food decrease put the slider all the way to the left and you can have permanent titanosaurs though I do suggest if your gonna make a mobile base out of it make sure to have a pack of raptors or carnos following under it for wild dino and smaller tribe attack defense and some turrets up top for aa coverage also their really slow so be ready for long rides to new areas

They can't attack in water so while everyone is slaughtered on land my little pirate ship will sit and watch as they scream for help while there skin melts and boils as their houses are burnt and crushed... Yay
I don't know actually. I usually hit host / local from the main menu and in that screen it doesn't seem to have anything about spawn rates. I play on the center and I've also noticed that when I go to penguin pond it has like 1 penguin per square foot and it lags me out, and when I found this cave entrance it had so many scorpions and titanboas that I got lowered frames then too. Most areas don't seem to have any crazy stuff, only caves, penguin pond, and on top of the skull island
if you run on single player servers you can disable the do not eat thing and then you do have it forever. (ASA single player server settings, I think it's under advance settings)
They must be moving to apply torpor. You can't trap these. They have to be hit in head not the neck and they will make a unique sound when hit with a torpor shot. Similar to the rock elementals.
ThickFreedom I found some news you could include in a future video if you wanted. There's a command to allow raid dino feeding on custom servers and single player. I got mine working. Just needed a quick google search. Awesome that you reply to your viewers btw. :)
Yeah I saw that command. It really makes me wonder because the command is: ?AllowRaidDinoFeeding=true I wonder if this implies that there might be more crazy OP dinos in the future. I try to respond to everyone :)
ThickFreedom I'd assume they plan aquatic raid dinos atleast due to the amount of ocean bases. Maybe flying ones too to deal with the unique topography of the new official version of the center map. All I know is, this game keeps amazing me. The amount of letdowns can be counted on one hand.

If you play singleplayer, you can check a box in the General tab that says "Allow Raid Dino Feeding" and I was wondering what it would eat in that case.
Damn, I wish they evened out the 24 hour death, to not starving, but not being able to take out metal. So it could take out wood and stone, but at the same time you could feed it aswell!
So, ThickFreedom, I have a question, I have an ark server on my PS4, and me and my friends really want to tame the Titanosaurus, but since we know it's just gonna die since it can't eat, can you explain to us what we need to do to input that server command that will allow you to force feed it to keep it alive?

What I gathered from the video: 1. Titan can demolish metal similar to how a DodoRex can 2. Titan can kill basically any dino very fast with the possible exception of gigas (I took down a wild giga with my tribemate on mate boosted gigas and we each lost about 15k health killing it). 3. Titan requires no kibble and just needs to be saddled in a similar way to Annunaki Genesis "God dinos" that you just have to use a matrix on. Did I get that all right more or less?

I was a low level, just got the game, made a house... and thats when “the beast” (i called it) Attacked, I spent all damn day (i really damn did) i hunted it down and died over and over and over and over and over, and i hit it and it swung its head up and roared and the beast was dead...

So you NEED to have the saddle or could you just have it follow you around and have it on attack target or do you really need to knock it out and then give it a saddle in order to tame it?
I've gotten a ascendant rocket launcher blue blueprint and rocket propelled ammo blue prints, on such a low leveled now I just need a saddle and a Quetzalcoatl but that might take me some months to obtain
Should update this, the titan cannot take torpor damage if it's stuck. Not sure if this was patched shortly after but you probs should inform your subs on this matter.
what if the Titan is attacking your base and you knock it out? is that a viable counter to the Titan at all? or would you just need like 10 gigs and prey that they don't all die
Their dossier says that the titanosaur will become aggresive if you get way too close to them. I'm kinda confused though, because I went close to it and it didn't agro on me......
"These values may differ with what you see in-game or written elsewhere. But that is what the dossier says." there's a difference between the dossiers and in-game
I know this is old but i found that AllowRaidDinoFeeding=true by it'self does not work. The Tinyosaurs still won't eat w/o force feeding. You also need RaidDinoCharacterFoodDrainMultiplier=1. Seems to be permanent and feeds on his own on my dedicated server
I saw the code AllowRaidDinoFeeding=true would need a ? at the beginning = ?AllowRaidDinoFeeding=true. Did you put it? It might seem like a silly question but grammar, spelling and syntax is pretty important in coding/programming.
Mitchell White WILD Gigas are the strongest creatures in the game with well over 100K health and 1200 damage at lvl 1. But once tamed Gigas lose 80% of their melee damage and their health deops to around 25K ( A tamed giga with 100% melee damage does 240 damage). The Titan on the other hand does 1000 melee damage both wild and after being tamed with health around 150K.
Mitchell White tamed gigas are nothing compared to wild ones. I haven't tamed one myself yet but I've heard of people losing 70% and more of stats on a giga by taming it.
I'm pretty sure that I'm not giving you news exactly, but the Developers added a source code to fix it apparently, they were talking about it on shipwrekt.
+Amped Explorer about time a dino can damage metal, explosives already could but a raid against metal bases with gigas would leave the bases standing. A Titano raid = metal bases in danger.
So I play on mobile and I have yet to see all Dino's (because I'm new) and recently I found a microraptor which I didn't think existed on mobile yet. But the first time I found a titanosaur was hilarious. I was in the frozen north hunting for high level Woolly Rhinos when my shotgun accidentally hit a brontosaurus.... But it wasn't a bronto it was a fucking Titan .... the feeling of awe at its sheer size and the fact that I thought it didn't exist on mobile... Luckily I survived a hit but it broke all my gear and killed my pteranodon in the crossfire. The Titan is one too be taken seriously for sure and I'd love to tame him soon when I reach lvl 100(currently 75).
Wtf I was luring one of these over someone's thatch hut and he didn't do shit to it. Can it only destroy things if its being ridden? Because in my server it can't destroy anyone's stuff via aggro at least. We were trapping it until we realized it can't even smash a thatch hut.

pcakes on a private server i play on there are about 9 titans on the map since it has a 3x spawn rate, caves are a lot of fun too

In a recent patch the starve has been removed in single player, so u can have it unlimitedly, without changing settings

Titanosaurs aren't aggressive you probably accidently hit it or your tamed creatures that is set to aggressive probably attacked it

Im reasonably low leveled and I came onto my game and in my base was a bloody giant dinosaur which kinda shocked me…
I doubt you only get it for only 24 hours, mi heard that once you put the saddle on its permanently tamed.

Will your Titan die after 24 hours if u r on single player?
if your on a single player world whats the command to get it to eat!
Does it eat kibble? Also, what if you're on a PvE server?
No eating, just put saddle on and its yours. Not sure about pve
I know this is old but i found that AllowRaidDinoFeeding=true by it'self does not work. The Tinyosaurs still won't eat w/o force feeding. You also need RaidDinoCharacterFoodDrainMultiplier=1. Seems to be permanent and feeds on his own on my dedicated server
I saw the code AllowRaidDinoFeeding=true would need a ? at the beginning = ?AllowRaidDinoFeeding=true.

gigas are way more powerful for me, i dont know if my singleplayer is bugged but i watched a lvl 20 giga absolutely destroy a lvl 4 titan (both wild)
Mitchell White WILD Gigas are the strongest creatures in the game with well over 100K health and 1200 damage at lvl 1. But once tamed Gigas lose 80% of their melee damage and their health deops to around 25K ( A tamed giga with 100% melee damage does 240 damage). The Titan on the other hand does 1000 melee damage both wild and after being tamed with health around 150K.

Mitchell White tamed gigas are nothing compared to wild ones.
I haven't tamed one myself yet but I've heard of people losing 70% and more of stats on a giga by taming it.
That's wrong wild titans can kill will gigas but a tamed than will die also wild gigas only have exactly 80k health just saying

I'm pretty sure that I'm not giving you news exactly, but the Developers added a source code to fix it apparently, they were talking about it on shipwrekt.

+Amped Explorer about time a dino can damage metal, explosives already could but a raid against metal bases with gigas would leave the bases standing. A Titano raid = metal bases in danger.
So I play on mobile and I have yet to see all Dino's (because I'm new) and recently I found a microraptor which I didn't think existed on mobile yet. But the first time I found a titanosaur was hilarious. I was in the frozen north hunting for high level Woolly Rhinos when my shotgun accidentally hit a brontosaurus.... But it wasn't a bronto it was a fucking Titan .... the feeling of awe at its sheer size and the fact that I thought it didn't exist on mobile... Luckily I survived a hit but it broke all my gear and killed my pteranodon in the crossfire. The Titan is one too be taken seriously for sure and I'd love to tame him soon when I reach lvl 100(currently 75).
Did they resize the Titanosaur? What happened to the one that was larger than mountains?
Wtf I was luring one of these over someone's thatch hut and he didn't do shit to it. Can it only destroy things if its being ridden? Because in my server it can't destroy anyone's stuff via aggro at least. We were trapping it until we realized it can't even smash a thatch hut.
Does the titanosaurus respawn if I kill it?
Given that its temporary, what happens to structures built on the platform saddle/items placed on the dino itself?

is the server setting to enable eating like it is with (harvest amount, etc) I know it's not on Xbox yet but that is what im worried about.
+worried that you can't activate it on Xbox like through some pc commands or whatever.
