Not true, Zimmer has coached an elite player of Micah's caliber. Zimmer was the DB coach for Dallas 1995-1999. Deion was there from 1995-1999 and Deion is in the HOF. I am not selling Micah short, but let's not sell Deion short.
Last year J Brooks blew up in training camp and caught the eyes of everyone. Then pre-season games hit and he was no where to be found when given the opportunity. Maybe that changes this year. We will see. Great Vid!!
I would love to see Brooks, Tolbert, Turpin, and even Flournoy compete so hard for that WR3 that the coaching staff is forced to design plays and sets for ALL of them. I want to see these guys get after it.
Deion Sanders is arguably the best athlete and defensive player of ALL time and Zimmer snatched a knot in his behind when needed. Prime has the UTMOST respect for Zimmer.
Totally agree; what made Deion one of the best if not the best CB is that he studied the game. He knew the receiver routes; he jumped a lot balls. Having said that Deion played WR at times; he could easily be any teams number two receiver and some teams number one receiver because he knew the routes. He was also a great punt returner. And not to mention a good baseball player

He's smart to want that too. This is a pass first league. The most vulnerable position, besides Kick Returner, is Wide Receiver. Those guys get hurt often. We've actually been fortunate the last few years in that area. I think if someone pressed Mike McCarthy he'd say he wants 5 WRs, 2 or 3 TEs who can block and catch, and 2 or 3 RBs who can run, block and catch. I realize probably every coach wants something like that but there isn't enough talent out there to have that on a team. Regardless, wanting a whole stable of WR horses is doable and probably necessary with a 17 game season and that's just for now. I see the 18 game season just on the horizon.

Was the pass in your intro from Lance? It looked like it was thrown high, for the receiver to catch up to it, and not in the range of the DB to knock it down. I guess I'm saying it looked different but better.
