Great description. Hate is toxic. There will always be haters and it’s so hard to deal with haters in positions like medical doctors, especially if they’re unconscious.
Sometime last year I saw a video on YT. Apparently, a young Black couple in the South, about late teens, early twenties were having a baby. During the labor of the young lady, the baby's shoulder somehow got stuck in the birth canal. According to the video, this is not an uncommon occurrence and there are standard steps to take to successfully deliver the baby if this happens. If I remember correctly, a C-Section should be done if this happens. However, the doctor attempted to pry the baby out through the birth canal and ultimately decapitated the baby. Then removed the body, without the head, via C-Section. Ultimately, the doctor made the nurses wrap up the headless body in a blanket and propped the severed head onto the body and attempted to convince the couple that the baby was born dead. The whole time I'm watching this I just kept asking myself if such actions would have been taken if it was a White couple. Shit is crazy!

@@Inmyownleague That's crazy because from what I remember of the video, he wasn't brought up on any criminal charges but I believe he was sued for malpractice. I'm sure you can find the video on this platform. It was a while ago.
That's why you need to work hard so you can separate yourself from these toxic devils. If you connect/network with other hardworking blacks, your life will be more peaceful.
I agree with this see don’t nobody wanna talk about nothing real now days so I don’t see thousands of comments under this video people cant handle these topics
This is very much the truth. Racism in Healthcare also brings fear in not going to or relying on health sources to get good and proper help Healthcare.
My experience as it pertains to medical diagnosis, there are certain medicines assigned given our foods, lifestyle, etc…(high blood pressure medicines). As it pertains to what’s heard and experienced, that is a mental, and emotional tendency to believe what’s presented. Biologically speaking, that impact can be experienced with ALL humans; even animals. In animals, it’s referred to an evolutionary adaptation. The biggest takeaway for me is being surrounded by people that have my best interest, and knowing who I am. Dr. Phil McGraw says…”Everyone needs a soft place to land”. The world is crazy! Your example is a harsh result of not having a strong family; parents that love and care for you. Pre- Jim Crow, when Black Families were at their most sound as a race, FAMILY was sound! There was a Father along side a Mother in the home; both contributing to the Family. There were core values…absolutes! It’s God’s way, and there is no substitute…
it's a racist world in all walks of life, Black people have endured slavery and poverty for a long time its important that we take upon ourselves to learn about natural remedies to keep us healthy pray and be strong and learn about the good things about our history and learn from history about others. The deception is for us to think we are in a better position than we really are. we cannot hate racists or get angry all the mistreatment that we face just know that everything has an end date we need to get in all the good works we can before our time comes. we need to understand that we dont need to be wealthy or married outside our race. to be successful. life is short and that is a fact. when we realise there are so many people in positions of power most of us are powerless when it comes these situations. who wants live to an old age living in pain and poverty while losing your ability to take care of yourself and on top of all that being marginalised as normality. I understood some our elders look forward to the day when they take their last breathe. R.i.p to all the Ancestors who spoke the truth and who did painstaking did research to liberate. anti racism and equality are deception there are no such thing. War doesn't make sense and the system works doesnt work for us as a group,
(Foolishness) it's (only) one race and it's human there is no white race black race and no other race so how is it racism racist the root word is race but I been stop looking at myself as a black. Love&Peace
It’s amazing that you have made it to this level but there are things in place that keep the concept of racism at the forefront of almost everything it does… You can live in denial but it’s a fact!
The title is somewhat misleading. This is moreso how racism can affect the level of healthCARE & allopathic medical treatment people receive moreso than a direct effect on their health. Now in the sense of trauma & stress being exhibited towards a person through a racial vehicle of behavior or social assault, absolutely. Neither is effecting the health of melanated people as much as most simply eating irresponsibly. Not just in food deserts, but there’s just as much if not more going on in areas & amongst people of our demographic who have the financial means, transportation & easy access to healthy choices of foods everyday. This is the same issues plaguing every first world population & it’s one only the individuals themselves have the power to change. Most members of our species regardless of race succumb to cancer, diabetes & atherosclerosis/cardiovascular/heart disease regardless of stress level or direct/indirect racism experience. Not at all knocking the message at hand though.

The biggest way that it affects our health daily is emotionally and psychologically.

It’s documented that racism directly cause trauma and high levels of stress in black people in which turns into high blood pressure rates
