Fun fact. If you listen really, really closely to the background of any song in the bullets album you can kind of hear, get this, my heart breaking to pieces
I came to think of this because today I accidentally stabbed myself in the leg while trying to open up a coconut and now I understand the dreams of stabbing AND being stabbed
The whole day I had the phrase “dreams of stabbing and or being stabbed” in my head and so I looked it up here and began to listen to this ep. It’s very beautiful and Gerard’s voice is amazing
Stabbing is Vampires Will Never Hurt You (lost to time by the sounds of it. Apparently Vampires was released as a single and had the rough mix of Vampires on) Wish You Away is the 5th one. A demo of Drowning Lessons/What took the place of Drowning Lessons. Both are lost to time and not found unless the band release it as the demos.
@@partypoison329 just checked and yup, the Vampires Will Never Hurt You single includes (and specifically labels it as-) the rough mix of the song with cubicles and skylines as b-sides!
To all of you talking about early sunsets being the one from bullets edited, it is, the person who made this said a couple times they tried to take out Frank's guitar because that's how it would have sounded before Frank joined the band because Frank wouldn't have been in the band yet. The original Early Sunsets is lost in time unless my chem has it, in which I really hope they re-release it. They ended up taking out Ray btw, not Frank :'/
In an interview with WSOU (or whatever local station from 2002) Ray said that song was never finished or written before they got to the studio. They had started it 2 days prior and finished writing it in the studio. Gerard pretty much finalized lyrics as he recorded and Frank wrote most of his parts in the van outside the studio
if you listen closely, you can hear me screaming in the corner also, the early sunsets one isn't a demo. it's just a version where someone tried to take out frank's guitar and accidentally took out ray's guitar still sounds good though
This is definitely the studio version of "Early Sunset" they have here and sounds like it has been edited. I know every intonation Gerard uses in this song, as I've played it millions of times and rewound every part of it when I was a kid, trying to sing and sound like Gerard. lol. good ol times 🤣
i hate to break it to you but it isnt. its just what the song sounds like if you pull your headphones out halfway and remove the mono audio. hence why theres no bass or rhythm guitar
Its a tad disappointing that we have all this demo material for bullets and tbp, but for 3 cheers we have 2 songs. I hope the anniversary in 2 years brings us a ton of unreleased gold that we were previously unaware of, like TbP 10 year. Could you imagine hearing a new song from 3 cheers for the first time again? I will literally revert into a 12 year old emo kid
Emyleigh Simoes yes it is. this is the same song as the one on bullets, except it doesn't have frank's guitar in it. his part got put in when he joined the band and he added his part in.
+My Chemical Romance Nation The "demo" actually took out Ray's part without knowing, it's obviously just the album version without Ray, the tracklisting is Turnstiles (Skylines and Turnstiles), Bring More Knives (Our Lady Of Sorrows), and Cubicles
WAS THIS RIPPED FROM A WARPED OLD TAPE OR POSSIBLY EVEN VINYL? WHY IS AT ABOUT 5:17 MESSED UP LIKE THAT WHEN HE SINGS, "FUCKING," I WAS JUST WONDERING. I've heard that albums thousands of times and can confidently say ive never heard that

Ray is a fucking guitar god and Gerard's baby voice is almost adorable
How old was he when they recorded it?

Skylines and Turnstiles (Demo).
0:00-3:28
Knives/Sorrow (Demo).
3:30--5:42
Cubicles (Demo).
5:45-9:41
Eary Sunsets Over Monroeville (Demo).
9:47-14:50
Fun fact: Knives/Sorrow (Demo) was titled "Bring more knives" at the time when this was made
and stabbing, the vampires demo is missing
the early sunsets demo isn't even real, it's just a stripped down version of the bullets recording. it wasn't on the album ever.

i actually really like the early sunsets demo it sounds so eerie and sad
SKYLINES AND TURNSTILES IS SO GOOD IN THIS?????
this version of ESOM got me closer to tears than the usual one, so beautiful yet so sad
the censoring in knives made it sound like he was having hiccups
Lmao, i thought the same
Oh gerards voice is so cute in this

Frank saying “go go go go” sounds like barking you cannot convince me otherwise
It’s Gerard

OMG EARLY SUNSETS HAD ME CRYIGNGBFHJBDSKZN
I love these. Too bad they didn’t include the early sunsets demo in may death never stop you
That demo is fake.
i dont think that was an early version of early sunsets cause gerards voice sounds EXACTLY the same as it does in the actual bullets version :/
Yeah its not, someone tried to edit out Frank's guitar and ended up accidentally removing Ray's guitar

are these the 3 last songs (without early sunsets) on the May Death Never Stop You album???

It's a shame that that isn't actually a demo, someone just took Ray's guitar out of the song (and meant to take out Frank's)
